My friend and I just got in a big argument about the difference between a Gryphon and a Hippogriff >.<
Can someone clear this up? What's the difference between the two animals?

Hippogryffs are smaller and are a bird/ horse combo. A gryphon is a bird/ lion/ horse combo. Or thats how I see it! XD

I thought a Gryphon was a lion/horse hybrid.

A gryphon is an eagle and a Lion combined.
and a Hippogryff is an eagle and a horse combined! I know that as a fact! XD
