I keep hearing people say that Pokemon Go ears up data, but it doesnt for me? I hatches 3 eggs yesterday, all of which were halfway done, as well as cruise around for pokemon, and it didnt even take as much as people said it would. Is anyone else finding that it doesnt eat up their data?

It takes a lot of battery for most people. I think you're phone might have a strong one or a battery saver mode.

Im talking about data ^^; I use the battery saving mode, but I've heard that data was also an issue

It barely uses any data. I was on it for a good few hours yesterday and it didn't use up as much as I thought it would. Since I got it, it's used less than 50 mb of data for me.

if you're hatching eggs and not concerned about catching, just put the app on "Power Saving Mode"
Otherwise it kills your phone battery. There was some article that said that Pokemon Go doesn't kill your data plans, it's been out in the US for a couple weeks and I've been on it more then enough to kill my data plan, but it's all good so far.

Go is pretty light on data like Ingress was. Like everyone's saying, battery is the issue x )

I am finally going to get to play today without just sitting around my home! I am going to take over my brother's gym, head to the pokestops in my town and hope to catch more eevees and maybe a ponyta or pikachu if i'm lucky!

I just learned that there are regional Pokemon that you can only get in Australia, North America, Europe, and Japan
