Lights. Flashing lights. Bright and synthetic lights blending into a pulsating rhythm. The smell of sweat hovers in the air, and the energy is almost tangible. A figure slips his way out of the back, and meanders to the bar. He flashes a smile to a girl, and then continues on his course. His fur is sleek and well groomed, a mane of hair gelled back. His eyes are hidden by dark glasses, and a green stud earring flickers as it catches the light. He pulls up a bar stool, orders his usual drink, and gives a wink paired with a coy smile to the bar keeper. She glares at him.
"Your flirting can't win me over Flash." She twitches her tail.
"Sure..." The canine answers, his voice heavy with sarcasm.
The bar keeper glowers, turning away to serve a customer.
The customer in question is a young adult, wearing a dark jacket, with her hair pulled into a braid. She eyes Flash, and he pulls his lips back. Something about this customer seems off. He can tell that she is not one of the usual customerssilverh narrows his bright green eyes, and the wolf sitting besides him shifts in her seat. That's when he sees it.
As she shifts, her coat opens for a second, and a silver knife catches the light. Instantly, Flash knows who this rpw is.
"We don't like your type around here." Flash's voice drips with malice.
"And my type is?" The black haired rpw lowers her ears.
"You know what you are."
"Do I now?"
Flash growls loudly, causing many people to turn heads in his direction.
"You're a monster hunter...."
At the words "monster hunter" a collective growl ripples through the crowd.
"What's a monster hunter doing here?" One rpw, a heavyset canine with what appear to be bat wings cascading down her back growls.
Another rpw, a scrawny wolf with sharp horns flashes a smile, revealing a set of abnormally sharp, almost needle-like teeth.
"We know how to deal with hunters, don't we." His eyes flicker, and a small chuckle ripples through the crowd. One of the rpw's darts forward, and wraps a wickedly clawed paw around the newcomers arm. He grins, and the hunter squirms.
The clawed rpw reaches into her coat, and pulls out the silver blade. He winces as his paw touches it, but still raises the weapon.
"All it would take is one downward sweep, and I could kill you." His smile widens as he greets the stranger.
Flash growls, and pulls a blade from his own jacket. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. I may not be a hunter, yet I still can't let you kill someone."
The sharp clawed rpw let go of the hunters arm, looking angry.
"Why shouldn't I?" The rpw who had grabbed the hunter now turned to Flash. "I can guarantee that she has killed one of our kind before!"
Flash sighed. "Whenever a new rpw comes into this bar, be they a demon, a vampire, or a normal rpw, I promise them that this is a space where everyone is safe. By everyone, I include the hunter before us. If you do not want her here, leave. But as for me, I'm gonna stay. If you want to go, go!" Two or three rpw's slunk out the door, looking almost sheepish about leaving.
Flash gives a small smile. "Anybody else?"
No one moved.
"I'm glad we all agree." Flash continues. "Now, if you don't mind, I think this rpw would like to get back to her drink." He gestured to the hunter, and the crowd slowly disperses, getting lost in the rythem of the music once again.

Occupation // Flash has a very... interesting job. To most outside viewers, it appears that this green eyed rpw owns a bar and rave combo, however, the outside viewer is only partly right. Chances are, they will never know the whole truth.
The bar Flash owns is a place where flash strives to have everyone accepted. He started off by providing shelter and drinks for a few rpws that some would call monsters. After awhile, word got around, and soon he found his bar flooded with unusual customers. He enforces a no violence rule in his bar, and those who violate it are not off to a good start with befriending Flash.

Personality // Flash is both independent and competent. He can easily deal with rowdy customers, and although he prefers talking it out, if push comes to shove Flash will not hesitate. This striped rpw is a big flirt, and has a cocky attitude around others. He does, however, have no interest in love. In fact, he doesn't believe love exists at all, and only flirts for the heck of it. He can come off as cruel to others, however in truth Flash simply likes to see what he can get away with, without serious consequences. To the people Flash is close to, he is extremely loyal, and almost brutally honest. He will defend both his friends and his bar's patrons as well as he can, however will not hesitate to tell them what he feels.
