I feel that if Uther died in the first season, Arthur would become king pretty quickly but it also makes it very difficult to make some storylines happen like Morgana and also, Agravaine would make a quicker entrance.

Also, guys. I was wondering if anyone wanted me to start the Merlin Roleplay we used to do again. We could do it on Piratepad or just the CS Roleplay forum and I have an idea in mind. Basically, the Merlin crew have to adjust to living in the 21st Century after some kind of magic time-travel spell that Merlin 'accidentally' cast.

Please, do tell me whether you guys want me to make a new roleplay or not and if you'd participate, the characters and stuff are still undecided but yeah.

Also, would you guys like the forum or Piratepad to be our roleplay platform? I feel that the forums are better with our time differences and such. And Piratepad is live and we'll be able to see each other type but people get disconnected a lot and sometimes the links crash for eternity or something and you lose everything.

Uther dying in season one might have been satisfying for us the viewer,
you need conflict to drive a story forward.

Yeah and some of the storylines are only applicable because of Uther being alive so it wouldn't work out.

Bonus as it has a merlin connection as the actor who played lancelot in merlin plays the musketeer Aramis.
just warning you guys who do decide to watch it, each episode is an hour and they only made three seasons of it.

Pffft, an hour isn't that bad. I've heard of the show though. Did anyone know that Santiago Cabrera, who plays Lancelot, and his wife had a baby, I believe?

(And I watch shows that only go 3 seasons all the time, or 2 or even 1.)

Hey guys, I am SUCH a huge fan of merlin, and my favorite character would probably be... you guessed it, Merlin. I really love this show,I wish they didn't kill Arthur off and finish the show!!! Do any of you other fans wonder 'HEY MORGOUSE! MORGANA! CAN'T YOU SEE?! MERLIN IS THE GREATEST SORCERER EVER KNOWN!'. what I'm trying to say is that it gets so.... nail biting about the fact that Morgana (and Morgouse) doesn't know that Morgana's worst enemy protecting Arthur from being killed so Morgana can claim the throne of Camelot is merlin!!!
