She sighed a bit. "So tell me." She said looking up at him. "How do you feel about me?" She said cocking her head a bit.

He rolled his eyes a bit. "You're fine." He said. "Just, please, don't." He said. "I don't want to start having to wear a blindfold around you." He teased.

Hope opened her mouth to reply but closed it again, looking down into the water and messing around with the hem of her shirt, still flustered.

Jay sighed again. "I.. Don't know." He answered after a moment.

She felt her heart break a bit. "That's fine." She said. "You don't have to know right now." She said pulling herself away from him giving him a smile.

He rolled his eyes a bit. "You're fine." He said. "Just, please, don't." He said. "I don't want to start having to wear a blindfold around you." He teased.

Alex patted her head before slipping in, careful to not hurt Hope. He forced himself underwater before resurfacing, his wet hair clinging to his face as he tried to sweep it to the side; he listened quietly to Hope and Osuma talk.

Hope glanced over at Alex before looking down again. "I'll try not to, I guess?" She said with a confused look. "But it's really not my choice." She added, before dropping under the water, closing her eyes as she did so.

Jay looked pained for a moment before smiling back at her and standing up, grabbing the plant scissors again. "We should probably get working." He said.

Alex submerged under the water again, this time staying down. He poked Hope's nose softly and tilted his head; a silent question asking her how long she could stay under.

Hope opened her eyes and poked his nose back before holding up five fingers. She tilted her head to the side, as if asking him the same.

She gave him and smile and nodded. She hoped up and went back over to where she was picking it up. She made sure not to point it at herself when turning it on. She turned the nozzle and waited until water started coming out to snake it over to where Jay was and started watering the plants.

He watched the two go under water. They were under for a while and he wasn't sure if he should do something, but he did feel very tired. "D*mn." He silently cursed himself for using his magic at all.
