I just wanted to answer a lot of these questions! Sorry it's all so long! I had fun, but you dont have to read lol

Also, I figured I would actually announce my staff custom that I uncovered a little while ago. His name is Phoenix and he's a right piece of work. He's a flirt and a charmer, and vain about his hair. He's looking for friends! (Or what passes as friends to him.)

What was your first Kalon?

Arthur! He was an amazing gift from my friend, who is the most precious.

I did this piece of human forms of all my kalons at the time!
Favorite Kalon?

I love them all so much! Probably Arthur or my staff custom, Phoenix!

That's really hard to pick... I love this piece that Tig did of Arthur though!

There's a lot of them wow... Um. Aaron (even though we're enemies...), Pallis, Tig, Moon...
If your Kalon were to wear swimwear, what type of swimwear would they wear?

Arthur // Probably just normal swim trunks
Phoenix // Is no swimwear an option?
Sorren // He's super pale, so he'd have to wear a swim shirt or something with his bathing suit.
Lyrus // Probably just normal swimwear.
Graham // He can't swim.
If your Kalon were to go to the beach, what would they do?

Arthur // Sit under an umbrella and read probably.
Phoenix // Flirt with everyone on the beach, and complain about what the saltwater is going to do to his hair.
Sorren // Spend a lot of time on the boardwalk, inside shops.
Lyrus // Catch little sea critters and shells, and explore the tide pools!
Graham // Play in the arcades on the boardwalk, and follow his brother around looking at tide pools.
What is your favorite name that you've ever come up with for a Kalon contest? Why?

Before Graham was Graham, the name I used for the comp was Arcus. I love it, but I couldn't get it to stick in my brain for this particularly character.
If your Kalon were to have a superpower, what would it be and why?

Arthur // Maybe something to do with mindreading, since he has a lot of extra eyes.
Phoenix // He doesn't need super powers he's dangerous enough.
Sorren // Walk through things, or invisibility.
Lyrus // Probably the ability to make plants grow or something.
Graham // Something to do with sound, since he likes music so much.
Based on your Kalon's eye color, what element/type would they be if they were a Pokémon? [blue = water, light green = bug, pink = fairy, etc.]

Arthur // Dual type normal/ghost
Phoenix // Fire type
Sorren // Water type
Lyrus // Psychic type

What is one of your favorite concepts that you've ever come up with for a contest for a Kalon?

The only comp I've tried out for where I had to have a character concept for the actual try out was Graham! But of all my Kalons I'm probably partial to Arthur and Phee.
Have you ever noticed that you have an odd reoccurring theme or element occur in the background for a character? Has this happened in a form for a Kalon?

I have a personal connection with magnolia flowers, and I use the flower in some aspect of every single one of my characters.
Other than that, all my Kalons do know each other, and are tied in with one another!
What is your Kalon's favorite season? Does this say anything about them?

Arthur // Spring, when it's rainy, because that's the best time to cuddle up with a good book!
Phoenix // He thinks all the seasons have their merits.
Sorren // Spring, because it's best for gardening, and he gets to see all the cute rabbits that live in the woods by his home.
Lyrus // Spring, obviously, because that's when everything is in bloom!
Graham // Fall, because it's not hot, but it's not too cold. And fall fashion is the best!
Have you ever thought about what a Kalon's wardrobe would be? Either for a contest or for a Kalon you already own?

Arthur // Arthur wears a lot of button downs and vests. He's kind of a nerd.
Phoenix // Whatever is in fashion, whatever he looks good in. Usually a simple outfit though.
Sorren // Lots and lots of oversized sweaters!
Lyrus // He's usually got his dirt stained apron on from work. Comfortable sneakers since he's on his feet a lot. Jeans, and tee shirts.
Graham // Jeans, tee shirts, jackets. He's a normal teenager. He likes to keep it casual.

Didn't turn out the way I originally intended it to but I think it looks okay considering this is the first design I did in like a year aaa.

Your Kalon's home is on fire! They can only save three things from the blaze. What are they?
Tbh I don't know but like.
All I can think of is how Sen's gonna have a baaaaad time bc they collect paper...
They just have piles of paper lying around their house oh god.

@ladynightwing - Oh gosh, if I had hoarded kalons I wasn't going to use, I'd be pawning them off right now for that cutey, hnng. But I'd probably have to do a lot of character development and creative writing as all of my Kalons are supposed to exist in the same AU.

So... I got the Hm's I need for a 5 cost custom, and I want to use it along with my Glow Worm for hair edits, but I'm not sure what I'd want for a design. This may sounds stupid but I'm thinking of taking suggestions. But I'm also contemplating just waiting... or I could us an old OC design but I'm not sure if that's within rules. So I kind of want feedback of really any kind before I actually use what I have.

how many kalons are your trying out for right now? three - one regular adopt, two nursery
were you looking for anything specific for your first kalon? a palette i connected with instantly
what are your methods when it comes to trying out? create a believable personality for the kalon - out of this realism usually comes uniqueness, quirks, interests, etc. And then, from there, show that personality to the fullest.
what was your first kalon? Kaela #187
first kalon adopted date? June 7th
if your kalon were to go to the beach, what would they do?
Kaela - would be either napping, taking a leisurely walk, or chatting with her mate.
Dubai - takes full advantage of the sun as well as the waves. Paddleboarding and spear fishing, some surfing too.
Behr - lives along the Oregon coastline. She mainly fishes, attempts to surf, and follows the watersource inland. Anything that's an adventure.
based on your kalon's eye color, what element/type would they be if they were a pokémon?
Kaela - water type
Dubai - dark type
Behr - ground type or fire type
what is one of your favorite concepts that you've ever come up with for a contest for a kalon?
-A band manager kalon who oversaw his best friend's rise to musical success. Puts his hair up when anxious, quietly moshes to himself backstage.
-Insomniac who searches each night for a song to fit his mood, however varied or in depth it is. A perfectionist too.
what is your kalon's favorite season? does this say anything about them?
Kaela - Mid Spring. Warmer than the cold cumbersome winter but still not dreadfully hot. Also supplies a surplus of rain.
Dubai - Start of summer. Nice and hot, allows for any and all outdoor activity, but he can still be a lazy bum inside without being miserable.
Behr - Start of fall. Beautiful colors, no longer a sweating mess, and without the dreariness of winter.

Personally, I tend to prefer contests that are impress me or have an interesting prompt.

What are your least favorite types of contests?
I think my least favorites are the ones with word limitations because I really suck at staying within word limits. X3 There's always more that I want to say. X3

If you could be someone's Kalon for a day, whose would it be and why?
I wish I could even answer this question that I asked. X3 I don't know too many people's Kalons, but I think perhaps Sixbane's Lukial. Reason being, I kinda like his outlook I guess. The whole upbeat music thing and I can relate to the making and keeping friend problems to some degree. X3

If you were to have a party, whose Kalons would you invite over? Why?
Everyone's. X3 Cuz I'm nice like that and the more the merrier! :3

What are some of your favorite edits you've seen on a Kalon?
Probably fluff and hair edits, but I also love the edits on Sixbane's Liew, just cuz I love 2-headed characters. I love the sort of dynamic they can have. X3

How many Kalons do you think you want to eventually own?\
Hmm, I know the max is like...20 or something? But I don't see myself ever reaching that amount or being able to maintain it, let alone give all of them the amount of love that they deserve. X3

More than likely, I'll wait until they're mated. I tend to be a stickler for that sort of thing. I mean, I'd love to breed them, but at the same time, I'd prefer them to breed with the one that they love.

What plans do you have when you finally win a Kalon?
I have this all planned out. X3 Like...step by step program. X3
Step 1) Freak out because I can't believe I won them
Step 2) Continue to freak out and be excited about it as I enter them into my toyhou.se
Step 3) Simultaneously show off my Kalon in the FC
Step 3) Answer all those questions that I wanted to answer because I now finally own a Kalon
Step 4) Start doing art of my Kalon (or color-ins)
Step 5) Start trying to get art of my Kalon

Basically, that's what I've got planned out so far. X3
