➸ Skylar stood scrolling through her social medias while she waited for the boy to return. Spencer returned from his locker a minute or two later with a huge t-shirt and really long sweatpants. She looked at them slightly disgusted, but whispered, "Thank you." She left the classroom and headed to the bathroom which was luckily just across the hall. Sky stripped off her dress and then quickly put on the sweatpants and t-shirt. The sweatpants dragged everywhere, but luckily already seemed worn, and the t-shirt went down to her knees. She exited the stall and went to the mirrors. "Ugh," she mumbled to herself and situating the t-shirt so that it just touched the waistband of the sweatpants, she tied it off. Deciding that was as good as she was gonna look she exited and entered the classroom again. The teen shoved her dress in her bag and hurried over to Spencer. Spencer's pants were too long for her though, so she ended up tripping and falling into the boy. She let out a gasp, and a short scream for help.

She softened her look ever so slightly, realizing he had actually saved her from banging her head hard against the table. The girl shook her head and cleared the whole thing out of her mind. Lockers were overrated, in Clayton's opinion, so he had no need to go shove any books in there after classes. He just slid his notebook, in which he'd scrawled probably three sentences last period for notes, and blue pen into his backpack, slinging it over one shoulder. He was ambling down the halls to meet Ollivar, Aurora, and hopefully Skylar if she wasn't busy, like they did often, when he felt his phone buzz in his front left pocket. He stopped right there in the middle of the hallway, because why not, and pulled it out to read the text. More than one person nearly ran into him. From Skylar, his notifications read. He opened up the text and scanned it quickly. Well, he thought with a smirk, seems like she was busy. Sorry Sky, no can do. Hold up, stay strong, and don't hurt anybody. I'll catch up with you later. ;3 He bit his lip and reread the text before hitting send. He would've... saved her. Or whatever it was she wanted, her being his best friend and all, but he was all too eager to get out of this place. That, and, he was sure she was just fine. A little social interaction never killed anybody. After making sure he annoyed at least one more person, he moved from his spot in the center of the hallway and made his way to the doors. It was nice out, to him. Despite the clouds and chill, autumn would always be his favorite season. He wouldn't tell anybody, lest he seem like a girl, but one of the things he enjoyed the most about it was the smell. That said, he took a discreet whiff of the crisp air and stepped further away from the school. He took a moment to scan around for any familiar faces, preferably those of his friends.

spencer nodded when she thanked him no problem he said, smiling a bit. he was a bit weirded by skylar's face expression but he chose to ignore it. well the experiment is quite easy, just mixing sulfuric acid with sugar to crate carbon he explained basically C12H22O11 + H2SO4 which makes 12 C + 11 H2O + mixture water and acid he added then we will have to do a write up of what we did and what we saw but we can do that another time. spence placed a few sugar cubes in a beaker and handed her the small bottle of sulfuric acid want to do the honors? he asked, smiling softly oh and if by any chance the liquid touches your hand or arm don't forget to wash it off he reminded her.

She nodded her head, understanding perfectly what the goal of the experiment was. The girl took the bottle of sulfuric acid from Spencer and looked over at him before putting the drops in. "How many should I put in?" she asked tentatively, Skylar had always gotten good grades and could not afford to mess this one up, not if she wanted to attend Yale.
