What are ethyline?
Ethyline are lizard-like creatures born when life energy finds its way into a brewery. They are the living form of alcohol, and come in many types. Their sizes and characteristics range greatly, and they have been wild creatures and beloved pets for centuries. All ethyline have a long slender body, multiple pairs of ears, and horns. If an ethyline comes in contact with water, it will burn their skin, but if they soak in the alcohol they were born from, they will be healed from any illness or injury.

Be kind and respectful to everyone
Currently you can own up to 5 ethyline (staff can have 7)
Do not trade or sell your ethyline, you can gift if you contact the artist about who the new owner is
Please don't spam or mini mod (answering someone's question is fine, but telling them they broke the rules is not. If you notice someone has broken the rules PM me or a mod)
Don't ask to be staff, if I'm accepting I'll put up a notice
If you are banned for some reason your ethyline will either be gifted or put up for re-adoption
Customs do not count towards your limit
Don’t transfer your ethyline’s design on to a different species
If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to post

ARTIST/GUEST ARTIST RULES
Try not to make designs that are super similar to an ethyline that has already been made
Guest artists can make themselves 1 custom
Artists can make themselves 3 customs, and are allowed to make 1 custom for someone of their choice
if you decide you don't want to keep a custom anymore and put it up for adoption, you can make yourself another custom as long as you never own more than 3 at one time (but try not to constantly put your customs up for adoption)
However, if the person you gifted the custom to gives it away, you can not make them another one (or anyone else, unless you have permission)

SPECIES INFO
There are 5 main types of ethyline, based on the kind of alcohol they are born from. All ethyline are burned by water, but the more percentage of alcohol that is in their type, the more it will hurt. Ethyline walk on their knuckles and always have more than one pair of ears, and horns. When a ethyline bites you, you will become drunk. The size of an ethyline can range from 3 inches long to 8 feet long.
Beer Ethyline
These ethyline are born from beer. They are more likely to have feathers than other ethyline. There are 2 sub-types of beer ethyline: Lager, who are lean and faster than others, and Ale, who are stronger. Beer ethyline are very common

Wine Ethyline
As you would expect, they are born out of wine. They are also one of the most common ethyline, and are most likely to have scales. There are 5 sub-types: White, who are faster, Red, who are stronger, Blend, a mix of fast and strong, Champagne, who can jump very high, and Sparkling, who are extremely flexible.

Spirit Ethyline
Slightly more uncommon, they are born from spirits (like beer but distilled, aka more alcohol). Like beer, they usually have feathers, but unlike beer, there is a small chance for them to have wings. There are 5 sub-types. Rum has better vision, Gin has better hearing, Whiskey is better at smelling, and Vodka has better stamina. The last sub-type is more rare than the other 4, Moonshine, whose bite can kill you.

Industrial Ethyline
These Ethyline are very rare. They are also very hard to take care of, because they must never touch water or they will experience extreme pain. There are no sub-types of industrial ethyline, and they have the ability to spit acid. Even though spikes are common, Industrial ethyline will often be covered in way more spikes than other ethyline.

Methanol Ethyline
These ethyline are extremely rare. On top of that, hardly anyone wants to take care of them. They have no sub-types, and a methanol ethyline's skin is laced with poison. The poison is very similar to that found on a poison dart frog. These ethyline have the most rare characteristic of all: fur, but it is only possible for the fur to be on their tail.

Do you have any prior experience?: I run several other adoption threads on another website, this one's a bit tricky but it still won't be that difficult to manage!
