"Do you wanna cuddle?" Eli asked.
"Oh. Erm. Cuddle? As in a form of hugging? Oh. Okay. Thank you." Sakuraki stumbled over her words, flustered.
1 awkward minute later
"You're warm. It feels nice." She said quietly. Then she suddenly remembered about his broken wrists. Her flashing green eyes widened. "Oh. Are your wrists healed yet? I guess not... am I hurting you? No?"
Peppermint, her bunny, nuzzled Eli's legs affectionately.
A few quiet, peaceful minutes later
"I guess you're wondering about why I have to cook food when I can create things out of light." Sakuraki stood up and paced towards the kitchen. "Food is one of the few things that we cannot create out of thin air." She glanced back at Eli, who was listening quietly.
"Do you like mac and cheese?" She asked, unpacking the food. Eli responded with a "Yes."
Sakuraki preheated the oven to 350 degrees F, and opened a packet of raw, uncooked macaroni. As she poured the macaroni into boiled water, the packaging made a slightly satisfying cracking sound.
Afterwards, she mixed the sauce, and made it extra cheesy and creamy.
After the mac and cheese was made, Eli got up from the sofa with a grunt and- "No! It's fine. I'll set up the table since you have slightly healed broken wrists." Sakuraki quickly fluttered around the table, and set it up with silver, shiny tableware, with two sets of mint coloured plates. Then, she poured iced lemonade into two purple glasses.
She then cut a carrot and also a few strawberries into cubes, grasped a handful of hay and grass she bought from the supermarket, pet's section, and put it on a special plastic plate, then placed it on the floor with a soft plunk, smiling at her bunny. Peppermint scampered up to it and put its head into the food, chewing the grass.
"Dinner is served!" She announced happily, sorting the mac and cheese into two halves.
