Levi continued his reading, only hoping that Raina hadn't noticed his gaze. He finally finished the stack about half an hour later. He tossed them onto the coffee table and stretched his arms over his head, glancing out the window. The sun was going down and dusk settled around his neighborhood like a thick fog. He looked at the clock and realized that it was starting to get late. He didn't really want to mention it to Raina, he didn't want her to leave quite yet, but he knew he should. "Hey, it's getting late." He said reluctantly. "Do you want me to walk you home?" He asked, nodding at the quickly darkening sky.

Raina rested her chin in her hands as Levi continued to read. Her thought weren't focused on what he was reading, she didn't need to review it again, but rather she focused on how nice his voice sounded. She looked out the window as he mentioned the time. He was right. It was already getting dark. She bit her lip, debating with herself over whether or not she wanted Levi to walk her. While it was true that being in the city alone in the dark made her nervous, she didn't want to look like it. "I guess if you want to." She said, shrugging.

Levi rolled his eyes. "I'm not gonna let you walk home alone in the dark." He said, unfolding his legs and standing. He grabbed his phone off the table and stuck it in his back pocket. "C'mon."
He said, offering a hand to help her up.

Raina looked up as Levi stood. She sighed and took Levi's hand, pulling herself to her feet. "Alright." She stretched, cracking her back before she shoved her books back in her bag. She slung it over her shoulder and checked the time before throwing her phone in. There was a small part of her that was glad Levi had offered to walk her, there was another part that was frustrated, but apparently he wasn't going to take no for an answer, so she started for the door.

Levi helped Raina to her feet and nodded. "Good." He said. As Raina gathered her things, Levi glanced out the window again. It looked pretty windy, the trees were dancing in the sky. Levi grabbed his black leather jacket off the back of the couch and slipped it on. He opened the door for Raina and then shut and locked it behind him. He looked over at her and nodded. "Let's go then." He said, starting off.

Raina raised a brow slightly as Levi tugged on his jacket. Dang boy. You should wear that more often. She tightened her ponytail and followed him out. She smirked a tiny bit and pointed down the hall. "Allonsy." She said, falling into step beside him until they reached the elevator. She hit the button and tapped her fingers against her thigh while they waited of it to arrive.

Levi fell into step beside Raina and followed her down the hall. He looked over at her as they waited for the elevator. "So what're you going to do for the rest of the night?" He asked as the elevator doors opened. He stepped in and hit the lobby button.

Raina shrugged and followed Levi into the elevator, leaning against the wall as the doors shut. "Shower, and draw, and possibly binge watch Castle while sipping tea, if my roommate isn't back." She replied. "You?"

Levi looked over at Raina as she answered. He shrugged as the doors opened. "I don't know. Probably work on my lyrics some more." He said, walking across the lobby and out the door. He was hit in the face with a blast of cold air. He shivered a little, even though he was wearing his jacket. "Yeah, I'm not the most exciting person." He muttered.

Raina nodded. "That's cool. She said, following him across the lobby and out of the building. She shivered as she stepped into the cold air. It had been pleasant earlier in the day and so she'd left her flannel and jacket in her dorm, not having planned to stay as late as she had, and now the temperature had dropped and the wind wasn't helping. You'll survive. She caught his muttering. "You say around the girl who is literally going to drink tea and watch a crime show for the next several hours." She said, turning and heading back towards campus.
