"Dashkit, I know you're blind. But that doesn't mean you're deaf." Foxstorm said. "Now go see what just happened with Brightpool! I just heard her cry out and then call for Medi-star. I'm busy eating my squirrel." he said, taking a bite out of the squirrel he had picked.

Sparrowpelt padded up to the fresh kill pile and got a mouse and started to think of who could have murdered the kit.

She licked her kits. " They are beautiful." She replied. She smiled at him. She beckoned him closed. She Nuzzled her kits to her stomach so they could feed.

"Beautiful indeed." Medi-star said, padding closer. "Names for them?" Medi-star asked.

" dove kit and raven kit." She meowed lovingly. She thought about the murderer. Will they get her kits?

"I know I am not deaf and that is exactly why I came out here. I heard a scream I just didn't know why they were screaming." Dashkit said.

Foxstorm finished up his squirrel and buried the bones then padded over to the nursery to see what all the commotion was about.

He gasped at the sight of Brightpool and her two beautiful newborn kits. "Th-they're gorgeous! Wow, beautiful names too. Foxstorm sensed she was a bit on edge suddenly. "If you're thinking about the murderer, don't worry. They won't get to you or your kits." he said.

Medi-star nodded, but sat. "I have been talking to the other cats at the murder scene. I think, based on evidence, you are the murderer." he said, voice filled with sorrow. "I would be more than welcome to keep you here until the kits are apprentice-age, but I do not want more deaths."

She relaxed. She licked her kits. " We have to vote." She said suddenly.Her happiness turned to grief. " For specklekit." She Nuzzled her kits, grateful they were alive.
