I am a traditional rater. However, I WILL bend the rules of it if needed. I also sometimes use North American traditionalism.

I usually use this system:

Nontraditional prefix or suffix: -5 points

Common name or bad flow: -1 point

Unrealistic pelt color: -3 points

Unrealistic prefix or suffix: -8 points

Glacialfrost: 0/10. You said nothing about her pelt color, and glacial means: "relating to, resulting from, or denoting the presence or agency of ice, especially in the form of glaciers." or "of ice; icy." Glacial- just does not work. -frost does represent a "frosty" cat, like said, but that's not a good trait. Suffixes represent good traits, not bad traits. Suffix suggestion: -whisker

Mousefoot: 5/10.[/b] A nice, simple name, all it brings to mind is a small brown cat. But -foot is misused; if he had excellent hunting, his suffix should be -whisker. (Unless you don't want to copy canon, in which -fang might work if he has good fighting as well as hunting. Suffix suggestion: -whisker

{name}: /10. {reasoning}

My cats

Shadefang: This cat has a black pelt.

Molly

This cat is admirably good at both hunting and fighting, but doesn't excel either way.

Godwitface: This cat has a gray-and-white pelt.

Tom

This cat is considered very good-looking, and has no skills or personality traits that fit neatly into a suffix.

Oatclaw: This cat has a golden-brown pelt.

Molly

This cat is highly adept in combat, and considered fierce and powerful on the battlefield.

Adderfoot: This cat has a brown tabby pelt.

Tom

This cat is a very capable runner, renowned for their speed and/or endurance.

Yellownose: This cat has a golden-colored pelt.

Molly

This cat is a markedly skillful tracker.

Shadefang: 10/10- Loveley, fitting name. Cats with 'Fang' in their names are usually good hunters AND fighters, which you have noted, and is a name that will most likely show up in the series.

Godwitface: 10/10, For those who don't know, Godwits are a beautiful, mostly European, bird. 'Face' usually describes a handsome, or pretty cat, so that works perfectly. The only thing I'm concerned about with this one is possible placement issues, where does this cat live?

Oatclaw: 10/10, Simple, flowing name, just like Shadefang! Cats with 'Claw' in their names are usually skilled fighters... like you've described. Will brobably show up in the series.

Adderfoot: 10/10, Same as with Shadefang and Oatclaw, the suffix fits Purfectly, and will probably show up in the series.

Yellownose: 10/10 Same as with Shadefang, Oatclaw, and Adderfoot, the suffix is great, and this name is likely going to show up in the series.

My names:

Slateclaw: A slate-grey, ambitious tom who commonly boasts about his battle skill.

Sunfrost: A golden tom with icy blue eyes that stand out in perfect contrast to his fur, and gives quite a deadly looking glare.

Silverdapple: A black she-cat with silver, rosset like-spots. She has no skills otherwise.

Slateclaw~7/10~ Sounds cool, but Slate- is nontraditional. Good suffix.
Sunfrost~ 5/10~ Totally nontraditional, but it does sound cool.
Silverdapple~2/10~ Doesn't sound that good, and a cat with the Silver- prefix should be silver, not black.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Starlingtail~ A black tom who is notably agile and good at climbing.
Dawnleaf~ A light ginger molly with excellent medicine cat skills
Honeypelt~ A golden-brown tom with no notable skills or personality traits.
Fallowflower~ A light brown molly who is very passionate about raising kits, she already has had two litters.
All 9/10, nice names, but I'd like to know about the cat so I can properly rate it :3
Going with 3 of my old ones:
Poppyleaf, A torishell medicine she-cat with forest green eyes, she is a skilled medicine cat, but a HUGE worrywart.
Note. When the old medicine apprentice passed away from greencough, Poppyleaf's parents promised to give their first-born kit to the medicine cat.
Whispermoon, A white she-cat with dark grey spots and dark amber eyes, her parents didn't know what to name her, until they realized that while the rest of their kits were mewling for milk, Whisperkit was silent, she was mute.
Cedarwing, a brown she-cat with amber eyes, she was born to a rogue who gave birth to her under a Cedar tree, her mother died when she kitted her, and ThunderClan found her and named her Cedarkit, and then Cedarwing for her leaping ability.
Poppyleaf: 10/10. Name fits well and flows fine.
Whispermoon: 2/10. Moon isn't a good suffix at all, and It's kind of mean to have the name represent a weakness, in this case muteness.
Cedarwing: 6/10. Cedar fits her brown fur, but tail might work better than wing.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Losteye : White molly with brown points and medium fur. She is a very old cat, thus an elder, and she is missing an eye. She lost in in a fierce battle against a now dark forest cat. She was previously know as Snownose for her (mostly) white fur and excellent tracking skills. In the battle, her nose also took some damage, so she is no longer a good tracker, so the -nose suffix didn't fit anymore. She is a grouchy cat that bosses around the younger whippersnappers, but tells stories when they bring her prey and a polite attitude. She has an accent to her speaking from her foreign kittypet mother.
Brambletail : Brown tabby tom with short fur. He likes to joke around, as is a bit reckless and irresponsible. He is great at cheering other's up with his jokes, and takes pride in it. He has no desire to become a high ranking warrior, just be keep the clan at it's best and feel happy doing it. He is an expert climber who excels at catching avian prey with his great agility.
Losteye:10/10 - I love the backstory of Losteye, it reminds me a bit with bright heart when blue star names her lostface because of the pack of dogs attacking her ;3;
Brambletail:10/10 - nice description and very cool!
----
Otterfoot:Brown Tom with long whiskers and a lighter brown chest and front n back paws. He is very sleek and has a glossy coat from eating fish and loves to swim in water, he has sharp yellow eyes and a torn left ear from a recent fight with a fox, he is loyal but can be very stubborn and sometimes brakes the rules depending on the situation. He is very fast and prefers to explore more then fight or hunt.
Shivertail:pale blue she-cat with darker and light blue flecks among her pelt, she has pale browny yellow eyes and has a long whiskers. She is a medium-long haired cat with a bushy tail that keeps her warm in the cold regions, she prefers cold weather and is a medicine cat with no noticeable skills (eg. Hunting, fighting,climbing) she is warmhearted but tends to be independent.
Otterfoot: 10/10. -stream would also fit for a suffix.
Shivertail: Negative 3/10. Shiver- says nothing about her appearance, and -tail is for cats with great agility. Her pelt color doesn't seem realistic, either. Suggestion(s): Bluepelt
My cats
Chuckwallaclaw: NORTH AMERICAN! Calico molly with yellow eyes and excellent fighting skills. She is in CactusClan, a Clan of the desert.
Eidertail: NORTH AMERICAN! Black and white tom with excellent agility. He is in PineClan. a Clan of the taiga.
Hi there, raters! I try to be as traditional as possible with my names. I do struggle sometimes. Also, I use different cats each post i make on this thread. I use the help of these; Prefixes, and suffixes. Thank you.
Chuckawallaclaw - 7||ten I looked up what a Chuckwalla is, and I'd think a tortoiseshell instead of a calico would fit the prefix. Otherwise, I like your creative name! c:
Eidertail - 10||ten I know what an Eider is. This cat is quite fitting for one, too! You nailed this cat.
traditional name(s);;
Applenose - A light ginger she-cat with orange eyes. She has a great sense of smell, resulting in her earning the name, as she has the excelled tracking skill.
[slightly traditional] Connemarafoot - A dark gray tom with white flecks and dark blue eyes. He is named after a certain horse on a farm near the Clan he resides in. He is also fast on his paws, mastering agility.
non-traditional name(s);;
cat name - desc
Applenose 10/10 - Ginger sort of goes with apple to me for some strange reason. Apple is unique and nose shows her great sense of smell. The name goes well with the description. Good thinking!
Connemarafoot 10/10 - Extremely unique but in an excellent. Foot shows his agility, so that part is perfect. Love it. I like how you thought the name through. The description is also magnificent. Nice job!
My names ~
SilverFang - A dark grey she-cat with white stripes. She's great at hunting and loves to support others. She is known for hunting in her Clan.
WishingHeart - An innocent, shy she-cat. All white with one grey paw and gentle, blue eyes. Very kind queen.
StealthFoot - An all black tom with dark grey ears. Amber eyes, great runner, sharp-tongued, and loyal. Can be hasty and is sometimes quiet.
