WEATHER !!

NEWLEAF || The sun begins to peek through the leaves as the dark and heavy clouds of Leafbare roll away. Birds begin to trill earlier in the morning, and the hibernating rodents stir from their slumber as they seek out meals to fill their aching bellies. Prey will be easier to catch, and kittings will grow easier on mothers. Cats are less desperate for homes and will be friendlier to patrols. However, with warmer weather comes more danger. Predators are no longer hungry and vicious, but they have full bellies and growing muscle. They lay unseen, waiting to attack. Twolegs sightings grow more common as well, though cats do not know why the strange creatures seem to prefer warmer weather.

A loner, who had wandered for many moons of her life, walked slowly through a lush valley. She paused. The air was full of the scent of millions of prey, almost as if she had just walked into Starclan. She began to stalk through the grass towards the scent of a rabbit. She was brought to a small clearing, when suddenly the rabbit scurried away. She turned to her right and was faced with a beautiful, dazzling pond. Hyacinths and lotuses and waterlilies littered every inch of the water. She walked forward to the water's edge and froze. Someone, or something, was here with here. There was a glow from the center of the pond.

"She has come! The Flowerspeaker has come!"

A cat who's pelt was as clear as glass and glowed like the stars rose from the water. Then more and more of them appeared. She was scared, but there was something holding her back from running away.

"This valley is yours. You will raise a clan known as the Hyacinthclan, and will lead them as the Flowerspeaker. But, be warned, there are dangers ahead…"

The cats disappeared as if it was just her imagination.

Hyacinthclan cats are usually friendly and understanding, preferring to make allies and do trade. However, if you end up on their bad side they become ruthless and aggressive. Though, they will typically defend instead of attack, only raiding for resources and kits.
Hyacinthclan highly values intelligence to the point where cats who constantly make terrible mistakes may or may not be kicked out so they do not "drag the other cats with them."

Unlike the four clans from long ago, Hyacinthclan does not believe in Starclan, and instead believe in the Flowercats and The Infinite Garden. However, they may occasionally refer to Starclan, when, for example, they are talking about something very plentiful.
Flowercats are the cats that died, they are like their form of ghosts. When a cat dies, they are placed in the Flowerpool so that they may go to The Infinite Garden. They believe that there is a portal at the bottom of the Flowerpool. The Flowerpool is a beautiful, dazzling pond located in the center of their territory. Hyacinths and lotuses and waterlilies litter every inch of the water. The Infinite Garden is a giant field of flowers and beautiful rivers and ponds that stretches infinitely. There is never a drought or lack of food here, and the Flowercats here are free to leave whenever they want three times a moon.

The Rules of Hyacinthclan are much like the Warrior Code. A few are listed here. If a cat is to break these rules they will likely be exiled, if they are younger they will be warned of their doings.

1. No cat is allowed to hunt from the Flowerpool
2. No cat is to destroy or damage the Flowerpool or plants in or around it.
3. A cat may only drink from the Flowerpool if it is their Warrior ceremony, Tender ceremony, Buddingspeaker ceremony, or Flowerspeaker ceremony.

Please start my clan with my cats unable to die/need food for the first couple posts!
Hyacinthclan is in a lush, flower-filled forest in a small valley. The Flowerpool is in the center of the territory.
When Bareleaf comes the territory becomes very snowy, and the trees here are not evergreens.

pipistrelle tells foxstride a story from her youth, of her time spent running on the moorland and chasing after rabbits. while she tells him this story, they're following arrowstream as they try to find a new den after they were chased out of their last home. however, foxstride sees the treeline on the horizon and asks if they should look there instead - the daybreak warriors gave the trio quite a scare and foxstride is worried about his mother's health and safety. after some consideration, arrowstream relents and they venture to the forest.

meanwhile, thunderstar is helping skytrail and morningpaw learn how to better their stealth and blend in with the shadows. however, when morningpaw catches the scent of a mouse, she asks if thunderstar would give her a demonstration. thunderstar fumbles when he hears unfamiliar voices and his fear kicks in. that's when he meets arrow, fox, and pipistrelle

will fill in more writing later!

• thunderstar and his patrol cross paths with a small group of strangers. the small group is led by a cat named arrow. though blind in one eye, arrow holds a commanding presence. at first, thunderstar fears that the group are daybreak warriors coming to investigate the recently-marked border, but he quickly realizes that one of the cats is an elder-aged cat. after exchanging polite words, arrow finally introduces their group, consisting of themself, a young warrior named fox, and fox's mother, pipistrelle. the elder, pipistrelle walks with a limp from her aching joints, and fox explains that they're looking for a safe place to call home. they previously tried to settle on the moorland, but were chased off by daybreak warriors. upon this revelation, thunderstar offers the trio a place in eventide. within the moon, arrow, fox, and pipistrelle embrace clan life with their new names: arrowstream, foxstride, and pipistrelleflake. while arrowstream embraces his self-appointed duty as camp guard, foxstride becomes fast friends with lizardeyes and batecho.
