IndentionNight falls swiftly. As you approach the grove, you make out shapes within the dark. Other equids are here. So, it was not a personal invitation after all. No matter, you press on, determined to see the rendezvous through.
IndentionFor a moment there is only the sound of hooves scraping the earth, the creak of gnarled branches, and a faraway piercing cry—some nocturnal predator.
IndentionYou are among the first to reach the heart of the wood. As you look up, a break in the canopy allows for a view above. Most stars are shrouded by roiling thunderheads, and yet, there is one feature on full display: a moon whole and tinted red. A blood moon.
Indention“Come in, if you dare. There’s no room for cowards,” a callous feminine voice beckons. Low-lying fog parts as a mare of imposing size steps out from the tree-line. “Follow our instructions and maybe we’ll welcome you into the fold. No, you can’t see the coven leader. Not til you’ve proven yourselves worthy.” She tosses her head, sweeping her forelock out from her ruby eyes. “Well, don’t all stand there slack jawed,” she stamps a polished hoof, “I invite you in.”
IndentionSwallowing your reservations—you move with the crowd, towards the field littered with headstones and monoliths. Where a band of fearsome looking equids await.

Skeleton breeding season is only a month away, are you prepared? This is an unofficial wild mountain equid event hosted by myself, BlueEyedKite, to give away species prizes. What’s the prize? Why full skeleton breeding slots of course! Make your way to the booths and enter for your chance to secure a skeleton breeding before October is upon us. To enter is free, though it may cost you your time and talent.
Note that, even if you do not win a breeding slot, all users who post a valid entry will receive a participation prize. These will be free wishlist pets. In the event I don’t have tradable pets on your wishlist, the user will receive two random rare pets. Participation prizes are limited to one trade per user. Participation prize trades will be sent out at the conclusion of the event.
