June 1st- June 15th
As you wander around the realm you have been called to, you stumble across a cloaked creature, hunched over and muttering to itself. "Stupid brats," it grumbles, shaking its head before turning to look at you. Its eyes glow as it faces you, but in spite of this, there is only darkness where the rest of its face would be. "Staring isn't nice, you know," it reprimands, and you quickly avert your gaze with a nod.
"Well, since you are here..." It tilts its head to the side as if thinking, before nodding and pulling a small, burlap pouch out from its cloak. It's devoid of any contents, though you get the sense it isn't meant to be. "My sister has asked me to watch over her children, but the trio of them are absolute nightmares. I don't know where she found them, but she is quite insistent on adopting them, and then she makes me take care of them for her!"
With a disgruntled huff, it gestures to the pouch. "This time they've gone and taken all of my coins before running off and hiding. Little devils, they are. Every now and then I see them and catch a snippet of what they're saying, and it seems they've decided to hide my coins. They think it's funny to pull those sort of jokes on me; they know it will take me forever to gather them all back up, and then they'll steal them and hide them all over again. Say...you're one of the champions that came through the portal, right?" You nod, and though you can't see it, you get the sense that this creature is grinning back at you. "So you're meant to be helping here? Tell you what, if you help me gather my coins back up so I don't have to hunt them all down myself, I'll make it worth your while."
Welcome to the scavenger hunt portion of the summer event! As you can see, our cloaked friend has lost his coins, and its your job to find them. If you do, you will be rewarded with runestones!
Throughout the course of the event, I will hide a random amount of coins in my posts. I will then post here to say that coins are hidden (and will include a keyword as a hint for what posts you should be looking through), and it will be your job to try and find the coins in that batch. For example, I might post saying, "The trio of kids were overheard talking about 5 of the stolen coins...and they mentioned cookies?" Once you find one, fill out the form below so you can claim your reward.
