Lyra has a deep love for her friend the farmer, Mirkiyla. The two spend a lot of time hanging out, going for walks, getting brushed, and nibbleing on treats. As bats are often among the animals hardest hit by ecological degradation, she supports environmental sustainability, and has been present at several annual tree-plantings at Dreamhaven Grove. She has also supervised several ecological remediation efforts around the grove, mostly aimed at the removal of invasive plant species in the lowland marsh, and the subsequent introduction of native irises and reeds. The many solitary bee hotels located around the Grove are also her idea, as are the well-monitored birdhouses for bluebirds and other native songbirds.

Completed Prompt: Cubalaya chickens are a breed developed in Cuba sometime in the 1800s, as a hybrid of two other hot-weather tolerant breeds. The Cubalaya has both a standard and a bantam form, although the standards are fairly small compared to other chickens; both standards and bantams share the same recognized colors. Cubalayas are unique for their tail angle; instead of the chicken making the shape of a 'U', with the head and the tail both pointing up, Cubalaya tails lay flat or parallel with the ground, and is known as a lobster tail due to the shape being similar to a lobster's claw. They are apparently a very sociable breed of chicken, and generally lack spurs.
