↬ prompt: Originally, they had planned an elaborate, beautiful snow structure, consisting of a giant castle, decorations, model cats... however, once they tried, they realized what they probably should have known right from the start: none of them were very creative at all, and none of them knew how to mold the snow. They decided on a simpler task, which was to make little snowcat structures of themselves.Unfortunately, they just ended up with each snowcat having a large snowball for the body, a smaller snowball for the head, and two small lumps for ears. Then they grabbed coal for the eyes, and didn't even bother with the mouth and nose. For the tails, they just used sticks.

Of all the cats in the desert, only Snow had ever seen actual snow. but because of this, all the kits get a little confused and think that theyre meant to decorate Snow himself! So he winds up covered in tinsel and Christmas lights! and Snowspark doesn't miss the confusion either, ending up with a great big star hat! Once Windgaze catches on to what’s going on, She managed to craft a Snow-shaped sandcat, and delicately transfers all of Snow’s decorations over to the now sand-Snow. After all was fixed up, the clan decided to name this new sand-cat “Sandflake that Drifts” as a fun little play on Snow’s full name.

↬ prompt: Jayce gathered up the snow, packing it tightly together. First, he formed the body, then he carefully added the head. It was a bit of a struggle to make sure that it stayed together, but he finally managed to make the general shape of a cat. He found some rocks and dried weeds to make the face and whiskers. Once he finshed decorating, the decided to name them Frost. He wondered if he should make a few more of them so that he could have a whole clan of friends until he eventually took in other, real, cats. He thought about what he could possibly name each of them: Jezabel, Snow, Thistle, Rocky, Anora, Pritchet. He got to work making the rest of them, giving each a personality and making them each a bit different in their own way. Once he was finished, he smiled at what he had made with his own two paws.

valleyclan has more than enough snow during the wintertime, so a few of the cats had the idea of making a snowcat! they work together, taking turns gathering and piling snow until it becomes a vaguely cat-shaped figure. the cats couldn't figure out how to give their snowcat legs, resulting in it becoming a large, legless heap of snow. it slowly begins to come a little more to life as more detail is added. some pebbles that the cats had collected before are used as the snowcat's eyes, nose, and mouth, while pine needles are used as its whiskers. though the end result looks a bit messy and hardly resembles a cat, the group is still proud of their hard work.

The crew didn't get very many chances to see snow, let alone be able to play in it and have some fun, but when they managed to dock at a beach that had some snow on it, the entire crew was excited (though very few of them would admit it). When they were given some free time though, almost all of them flocked to the beach to play in the snow and the sand. A majority of them decided to make a snow sculpture together. They were all very unfamiliar with snow, and it didn't end up.. quite how it was supposed to. They had tried to make a cat- had even tried to model it after their captain. But it was misshapen and awkward looking, the proportions were off and it was slumped to the side slightly. It could be recognized as a cat though! And to make it seem more like their captain, they had stolen an eyepatch to put onto it and used some driftwood to make a peg-leg. The group had also managed to get the captain's 'mullet' pretty accurate too. They had taken to calling it Captain JR.

When the captain saw it, he didn't say much, just shook his head and turned to board the ship- but if any of the cats looked close enough they'd be able to see the smile he had.

The scene lies ahead of her, crushed pure white snow crumbled on the ground. Muddy pawprints embedded in each place, tossed along with dark shiny pebbles swept onto the snow. With frosty flakes flying as a cat runs... out into the distance.

And for the millionth time she whispers softly into Sticky's broken ears, that slowly tumble off the spheres of snow, stained with cedar puddles. ''We'll find a better place, Sticky. Don't be sad, you can always turn him into a puddle like you did last time,''

Sticky seems to nod, whispering so quietly, ''okay, maybe I'll make him into a...''
