"the songs on the radio are okay, but my taste in music is your face."
"a special someone? let's see.."

according to his best friend, callisto didn't need to find love. but if he did, daizo had to be the first one to know about it. so when callisto did fall in love, naturally, the first thing he did was tell his best friend.
"i dunno, man, like, how am i even supposed to tell her how i feel? she's a god, or something like that, there's no way she's gonna wanna be with me!" callisto had rambled while he was splayed out on the couch, hands over his face.
daizo shrugged back to him. "you could always confess on stage at one of the concerts or something. you know, i always let you say a couple things during the show, that could be it. but if she doesn't wanna date you, that'll be pretty embarrassing."
so daizo hadn't been much of a help towards callisto figuring out a way to confess his feelings towards the girl. the concert idea might be what he was going with, though. but he just felt so lost on what to do. taharial, the girl he liked, was just so wonderful, and it seemed like such a far-fetched idea that she would want to be with him. he had no idea how to even go about telling her "hey, i kinda really like you!" callisto breathed out a sigh and ran his hands through his hair before deciding to just figure it out later.
weeks went by. the tour ended, and callisto completely blew his chance to say how he felt on stage. so it had come down to him telling her outright. he decided that he wouldn't make it some big thing by taking her out on a date or anything. he would just tell her when they were hanging out again. and that time came by way sooner than he had expected.
taharial and callisto had just been sitting around when callisto finally decided to spill everything that had been on his mind. "so," callisto started awkwardly.
"so," taharial echoed.
"um. there's been, uh, something that i've been meaning to say for a while."
taharial just nodded for callisto to continue, seeming unconcerned about what he was about to say. she continued to just mess around with the rubik's cube she had picked up.
callisto cleared his throat, trying to block away all of his nervousness. "i really like you. like, i mean, i probably really sound like a high schooler or even maybe a middle schooler, but i just- i don't really know how else to say all of this. i just really, really like you."
"oh, i know."
"what?"

"...and that's how taharial and i got together!" callisto summarized happily.
the kalon asking the question smiled at the happy ending, though she did have one small comment. "i still think that you should have gone with the concert idea."
