The Roundtails are no stranger when it comes to finding lost cats around the castle walls, many of the members ending up there in similar ways- whether it be the river taking them there, or getting lost on the way to the town, the roundtails camp is a safe space for any lost passerby.
Most of the group would be ready at any moment to help a poor young cat, offering them a temporary or even permanent home in the castle if they wish. Some cats may be a bit on the suspicious side if a new visitor comes around, but usually quickly warm up to any new cat.

The newcomer is surprised with what awaits them. The cats of Scorchclan, the vicious clan they had heard about from that encounter with the dying Driftclan a few moons ago are not at all the same as these. They simply can't be. One only has to look at them, at the large but kind presence of their leader to see that these cats would not hurt a newcomer. And this stranger to the land is taken by the immediate kindness the clan shows them, deciding the very next day to stay.

Prompt: Two cats stumbled into the clan with a stranger tagging along. They were cold and scared and shook seeing all the cats suddenly look their way. A larger tom slowly began to approach the loner and gave them a warm smile. “What’s a young cat like you doing out in the cold? You’re lucky my warriors found you. It’s okay you don’t have to be scared. We won’t hurt you. How about you come with me to the medicine cats den where my medics can help you. We have plenty of water and fresh kill and warm bedding to go around.”

the caladium respects outsiders outsiders on certain occasions, or so their kits are told. yet as eternal day turns to everlasting night, they all ask the question: who is their leader, really? an old god, their lord, the sunmaster reborn in a temporarily foolish vessel? or simply a kittypet, a trogon shansho, a hopeless liar with a misplaced fragment wedged deeply in his soul?

The Kingdom of Khafra prides themselves on their compassion toward others, thus when a cold, scared feline appeared among the midst of trouble, they were quick to take them in. Offering them a warm den, food and herbs to help aid whatever illness that may lurk within the feline, those of Khafra attempt to care for the seemingly lost feline. Nonetheless, not all of them are pleased with this decision and some make this well known to those around them. But they refuse to let another soul die, thus continue to aid the feline.

Prompt:

Your clan has found a lost, cold, and scared young loner. How do they react? Will they welcome this stranger into their ranks, offer some assistance, or ignore them?


Snow appeared on a cold and, ironically, snowy day. The she-cat's white fur blended in perfectly with the snowy environment, and if it weren't for her bright purple scarf of tinsel, the group wouldn't have found her at all.

Most of the Travelers were immediately suspicious of this new stranger, and rightfully so. They had been deceived and tricked by several NPCs posing as real cats in the past, and had learned to be careful around strange cats, just in case. Frog was the one who argued that they had to bring the shivering young cat with them, at least for a day, or she'd freeze to death in the cold. Dragonfly hesitantly agreed, and the young loner was allowed to travel with the group that day until they reached shelter.

The following day, all suspicion towards Snow was gone; an NPC would have vanished somewhere else overnight, but Snow was still with the group. She was quickly welcomed by everyone, and apologies for the previous day's suspicions were offered.

Prompt: MistClan would help welcome them in after all, they needed all the help they could possibly get! So much was coming up and help was needed from everybody that they could get it from. As well as they would not know who this cat is, they may be a big help with their problem.

So far, the Clan mostly is made up of loners who'd been lost and cold - or, at the very least, just cold. And if they weren't loners, whether curious and wandering or scared and lost, they were probably a kittypet in a similar situation. Only a handful of cats have actually been born in the Clan, and one of them was born before the Clan had many members other than her mother - who had just recently founded it. So I think it's safe to say any lost, scared, cold, or even just curious loners, no matter where they've come from, would likely be offered a bit of prey and their own place in the Clan - if that's what they wanted, anyway.

“Your Majesty?”

Piercing jade eyes turned to her… unwavering. His head tipped once in acknowledgement as he crossed the threshold to meet her with long, loose strides. His ivory fur billowed in the gales, snaking in from an open window. A low sigh eased from his jaws, sending a lazy puff of steam in the air. “What is it, servant? Make it quick. I have duties to attend to.”

Vienna cleared her throat. “Sir. There’s a young loner out near the palace gates. They’re lost and are in need of━”

“You dare bother me with some beggar?” His eyes flashed. “I have half a mind to throw you out there myself.”

Her eyes wandered to her paws. “I apologize, my━”

“Enough.” The King jerked aside, pivoting on his heel. “Close the windows. Leave the loner alone… unless you wish to join them. Now, you don’t want that do you?”

“No, sir.”

“Then, get my crown. I need to make a public appearance tonight. I’ll be waiting at the gardens.”

His form retreated into the shadows, those inky tendrils dancing on that ivory coat of faux purity and regality. There was nothing kind about this King, nothing admirable. Asking for benevolence was akin to asking for the sun to never arise once more.

Vie shook her head. Well, if the King refused to help… she would.
Azeryn was a kingdom of amity, tranquility and unity. A great kingdom as foretold by the legends.

And even if the highest of royals spat on that very legend… the spirit still reigned.
In the hearts of the commoners, the lowly… and those who believed the legends.

Prompt: BlizzardClan being made almost entirely of former kittypets, lost cats, and loners, would gladly accept them into the Clan. Many cats join for safety, friendship, company, or just because they think a clan sounds fun. Much of this is based on trust, as many cats have been accepted without much question, as long as they seem okay (they are however responsible, a cat who's just problematic is not tolerated). Not all cats in the clan are like this though, and distrust those who haven't proven themselves in their eyes.
