Callie is a shy and nervous girl, but she is very hopeful and very willing. She is quite adventurous except in socialising. Diesel is extremely independent and strong-minded, and he's a born leader. There's something indescribable about him that catches the attention of others and he often has them hanging on his every word. Being extraverted he loves when he is surrounded by others. He sticks to his morals and will only abide by the rules if he believes it's what is right, and while he doesn't actively seek trouble or conflict he won't back down from a fight. He can be very protective of those he loves, for example his mother, and he will go to great lengths to keep them safe and happy. Diesel can't stand inexperienced riders, but still does his best for them. He need someone with a light hand and an understanding of his fierce independence as he doesn't respond well to strict instructions, he needs guidance not orders. Chocolat never thought she was especially popular, and this has always plagued her mind, making her very self-conscious. She put so much effort into every interaction, but it seemed that the more she worried about what other people were thinking the more she embarrassed herself. She was also super-anxious that people were talking about her behind her back. She became quite shy and reclusive and still she was always embarrassing herself. She was always putting herself down, blaming herself for everything and pining for someone to really love her and appreciate her. Little did she know that one hyperactive stallion, officially named Space Cadet but called Star, was watching what she thought was embarrassing, only he found it adorable. Long story short he courted her and she fell hopelessly in love. Now Chocolat only has eyes for Star, and she dotes on him all day long. He has never judged her for being rather accident-prone, and never even batted a handsome eyelid at her deafness. She loves his cheeky, mischevious attutide, and around him she can't hold back the giggles - not at jokes, but at his antics and most of all his facial expressions. A day rarely goes past when she hasn't laughed so hard she cried. That's just what he does to her. He has helped bring her out of her shell, and though she will never be so confident and frivolously uncaring of opinion as he is she is much more comfortable in her own skin knowing that someone loves her for who she is, and not who she tries to be like. The fact that Star finds it hard to be serious means they do bicker, but he knows exactly how and where to tickle her into a fit of giggles and make her forgot what they were even arguing about. At the end of the day she can't resist his infectious love of life. He has taught her how to enjoy life again!

Personality:

Liljá is such a sweet girl. She is softly-spoken, cheerful, and considerate, and listens eagerly to what others have to say (whether that be trainers or other tolters needing somepony to talk to). This little filly is an obvious favourite - equally sweet and perceptive to whoever needs her. However, it means she can get away with a bit more with both trainers and other tolters in the way of misbehaviour. She doesn't have remotely the same mischevious spirit as many others, nor any malevolence in her actions - Liljá can just be a little cheeky when it comes to playing or groundwork. Liljá can be sensitive about change, especially if her paddock companions are moved somewhere else.
Liljá loves other tolters, children and foals, and at the relatively short height of 13.2hh, she makes the perfect lesson horse for younger riders visiting the stud. As well as cross-country and trail riding, Liljá also serves as a sort of 'broodmare companion' - occasionally, when mares are separated from the herd to give birth and care for the foal without any stallions or tolters around to hurt them, they get lonely or anxious and sometimes fret, which can be bad for both them and the foal. Liljá has the perfect mix of easygoing-ness, patience, and cheerfulness to make her a good companion for mares during this time - she knows not to get too pushy with them both, and, because she loves foals, she can help the dam care for the foal if she needs an extra hoof, or is a maiden.
Liljá is something of a doormat, rank-wise, even though she is still settling into her role in the herds. She is thoughtful and perceptive, which makes her something of an agony aunt - she is often seen patiently trying to talk sense into Otto or listening to Pearl grumbling about whatever has ticked her off that day. This makes her pretty popular as a steadfast friend. Sometimes she finds it hard to keep up with the other younger horses, with all of their mischevious schemes, but Liljá is pretty happy to hang back with Nutmeg and Callie and hear about it afterwards. Around her mate Romeo she is very sweet and adorable, and she falls for his romantics every time.
