Introduction wrote:Welcome to the pine valley show arena! Here, registered pine valley horses may enter standard and jackpot shows to win PV coins and custom tickets! This is our most complex mechanic so far so please read through all of our information carefully so that it’s successful! Chances are there will be some mistakes here and there as we first start so just be patient with us and we will get through it!

- We will try to run shows every couple/few days!
- If your horse showed yesterday there is a 1 day cooldown before they can enter another show! You can enter your other registered horses during the cooldown :3
- Your horses MUST be registered to show
- You may enter a max of 4 horses in shows a day (no more than 2 per discipline)
- there is a 75 PV coin entry fee per horse for standard shows entry and 150 PV coin entry fee per horse to enter a jackpot
- If you read this info please put “ beep “ in the anything else portion of the show form
- Your horses stats affect how they place! If you go with your horses recommended discipline then your comp score will be rolled with advantage (roll twice and pick the higher score) if you pick a discipline your horse has a deficit in, your comp score will be rolled with disadvantage (roll twice and pick the lower score) and picking a discipline somewhere in the middle is just rolled once!
- Please have your horses stats added to their adopt page in a comment somewhere! To make it easier to roll :3 anyone lying about stats will be disqualified

What Stat = What Discipline?

Speed:
- Scores 35+ will roll advantage in the quarter mile race and barrel racing
- Scores 15 and under roll disadvantage for the above disciplines
- Scores 16-34 will roll standard

Stamina:
- Scores 35+ will roll advantage in reining and cutting
- Scores 15 and under roll disadvantage for the above disciplines
- Scores 16-34 will roll standard

Strength:
- Scores 35+ will roll advantage in competitive trail and cart racing
- Scores 15 and under roll disadvantage for the above disciplines
- Scores 16-34 will roll standard

Balance:
- Scores 35+ will roll advantage in hunt seat and western pleasure
- Scores 15 and under roll disadvantage for the above disciplines
- Scores 16-34 will roll standard

Quarter Mile Race:
A classic quarter mile race for our lovely quarter horses! This is a speed event designed to show what quarter horses were made for. Pine valley horses may be more commonly suited for western pleasure like events, but don’t think that some can’t really pick up some speed!

Barrel Racing:
Good ol barrel race. 3 barrels as fast as you can without knocking a can! Another speed event for those pine valley horses that have an extra pep in their step and a need for speed.

Reining:
Maintain a lovely lope or gallop and do some amazing slides, spins and maneuvers. Show you and your horses subtle control and grace in this stamina event!

Cutting:
Show off you and your horses cowey skills by cutting off one steer in the herd and herding them with ease! Judges will be watching to see how much control you and your horse have over the cow, and how long you are able to stay in control. This is a stamina event!

Competitive Trail:
Show off your trail skills in our controlled trail environment! Up hills and down gullies, through gates and over bridges. Show off your strength and control in a “Wild” environment! This is a strength event.

Cart Racing:
A not so traditional event for quarter horses on our books. This event is all bout strength and stamina working on the track! Cart next to cart racing to the finish line! Although this event takes speed, strength , and stamina, we classify it as a strength event.

Hunt Seat:
Hunt seat is an equitation class, but we still love to see nice and soft relaxed happy horses! We want to see grace and balance. That being said, this is a balance event!

Western Pleasure:
Our last balance event is western pleasure. The goal is for soft, slow movements that accentuate but not replace these horses natural gentle gaits. A low, on the vertical, headset and relaxed movements are important here!
