alrighty! if the front is 100%, we have four more males over females i believe. its not too bad compared to others i've been
apart of before, but even so, it could quickly become a problem, so i'm willing to make another wolf or two, since i usually
play four on average. i'll see about doing so later today!

i also have some ideas concerning the pack's journey. perhaps the wolves could split up into patrols and such in search for
various things, while maybe one group runs into some sort of trouble? depending on when they come across the loner, maybe
one group can do so? there's also the idea of simply putting weather into play, perhaps the pack is racing against a storm or
maybe its already begun to rain a bit? just some ideas!

i'll update everyone on my characters relations after i decide upon my new ones, just so i can do everything all at once!

@wildsight that sounds great, thanks so much! and yeah, it is not that crazy, but i thought that it could be addressed, as some have reached out to me a bit concerned. i agree and don't want it to become an issue, or for anyone to be left out! <3 & thanks for the plot ideas, this definitely gives me some inspo! i still gotta get to writing my ideas as it has been a busy afternoon ! i'll probs edit this post or make a new post with em either tn or tmrw.

@horse: It looks like Pixie could use some relations. I kind of had an idea of Kyle finding her pretty and having a good first impression of her personality, but he'd be a little unsure of her until either a) she proves herself and becomes a full packmember via promotion to subordinate or b) he gets to know her better. Perhaps they could develop a little mutual or one-sided romance?

Aaa... I feel I should explain myself. I had already finished my two brothers' forms when I noticed the gender ratio was a bit male-heavy. It would have been a shame to scrap them when I liked their concepts so much and I hoped it wouldn't be too much of an inconvenience. I really didn't mean to throw anything off. T-T

I might make a female or two later to help out. Don't want to overload myself, but it's on my radar for sure.
I'm also cool with killing off Jaw or Kyle relatively early on if that would help. Also, Jaw is bi, so if romance sub-plot opportunities are a concern, I could have him crush on another male and leave some ladies for everyone else. X3



re: relationship planning
Jaw and Kyle are both open for family, friends, crushes, and anything else you might have ideas for. I went ahead and started them off with some opinions of some other characters, since they've been living together for awhile and would probably know some packmates by now. It could stay one-sided and just be their non-reciprocated thoughts, but I wanted to throw out some ideas.

For Jaw...
Danvas : Typical leader-follower relationship. Jaw respects and supports Danvas as a good pack member should. Being similar ages, they may have grown up together. Possible childhood friends?
Kanti : As an accident-prone Fighter, Jaw would be well-acquainted with the local healer. Jaw has a relaxed personality, so I think he'd just roll with Kanti's sass and find her amusing overall. I can see them having a friendship for sure.
Maple : She seems to have an easy-to-get-along-with personality. That, combined with the clout of being the alpha's little sister, would probably make her stand out to Jaw. He'd probably just really enjoy her company. May take on a sort of "adopted big brother" role depending on how close he is with Danvas.
Kivuli : She's not packborn, and Jaw would be naturally suspicious. Especially considering her unique up-bringing, I think Jaw would be a little weirded out by her, and generally uncomfortable in her presence. Could make for some funny interactions and develop in all kinds of ways in the future.

For Kyle...
Maple : Kind of the same deal as with Jaw. He probably grew up alongside Danvas and Darius, and may consider Maple as a sort of little sister figure. Plus, she seems tolerant enough to handle his sarcasm when he needs someone patient to complain to. X3
Karma : I could see him being another favorite chatting buddy for Kyle get all his sass out when he needs to. They could just be bros, man.
Pixie : Noted above in more detail. She's cute and seems nice. Kyle isn't sure yet if asking her out is a good idea, but he may be tempted...
Kakora : He... wouldn't like her much at all. Kyle just doesn't have sympathy for uber-submissive omega-types. He'd just think of her as... in the way all the time? Perhaps we could make some drama with him being rude and needing to get told off? Hm, or maybe a redemption arc of some kind where they actually start to relate to each other? I dunno. Could be fun. Lemmie know!

Anyway, just some thoughts. If anyone has any other ideas or wants things changed, hit me up! I'm down for almost anything.

Inari is a female that cares deeply for the ones close to her. Despite this, she's not the overprotective type, and believes everyone should decide things for themselves. Speaking of independence, Inari is strong in this subject. She doesn't mind getting help from others, but would prefer doing things for herself. On the other hand, she is very easygoing. If you somehow manage to get her angry, however, she'll show her fangs pretty quick. Inari is very loyal to her loved ones, and also rather intelligent. She's a great strategist who thinks carefully about a topic and considers all consequences before making a choice. On a less serious subject, Inari may look graceful, but she can actually be very clumsy at times. She isn't that ashamed of this, she knows and accepts it. However, she does start caring if she happens to let somebody down. She has a slight ambition, but knows wrong from right. Due to her ambitions and persistence, she won't back down from a challenge, and is always up for a good fight. Although of course, she doesn't like the idea of fighting without reason. She is actually very cautious, and makes sure to thoroughly examine every situation before jumping in. Inari isn't afraid of speaking her mind, and can, at times, be brutally honest. Her sense of empathy could use some work, but she would never deliberately hurt someones feelings.

History: Inari was born to a pack member mother and an outsider father. She had 2 other siblings but, her siblings froze to death in less then 7 hrs of being alive as she and her siblings were born in a freezing winter.

@gleon first off, don't feel guilty about your male characters!! i have more male characters than females too! i hadn't implemented any rules that one must join with equal genders. it's on me, nothing to do with you. also don't feel the need to kill them off. they seem like awesome characters that you put effort into. again, the ratio isn't even that much off, and we already got some role-players coming in with new female characters, so it seems like the situation is being alleviated pretty quickly. so, if you can't handle any more characters, definitely just keep to your two, i'd rather you be comfortable and have fun writing the characters you have than have more than you can handle. ^^

regarding your proposed relations with my characters, they sound great! your characters can be childhood friends with danvas and can be friends with maple too, almost like her big brothers. sounds good regarding kyle and pixie. perhaps he could have spotted her while she was training to be a subordinate, and maybe developed a liking then/she caught his eyes then, and will maybe try to guide her through pack ways, and something could spark up there as she takes on pack ways. he doesn't have to be her mentor per say, but maybe their paths cross frequently or every now and then he helps her out. i could see a mutual romance develop! is that cool?

History: Octavia was a very trusted and hard-working fighter for many years, but now her age was giving her so many problems that she could not hangle with the fighter duties any longer. She likes to take care of the younger wolves especially omegas as she knows how hard that rank is for someones. The upcoming journey will be very hard and risky for her so she may not survive on it.

@queen of flames your characters are accepted! i'll update the main page shortly! and wow.. i'm not sure if you read any of this discussion thus far, but we had a little diificulty balancing genders and this really helps!! ;u;

@all i'm gonna change the rules to be back to normal, since genders are more even now! but i'm gonna be more specific about keeping genders even, moving forward. so don't worry about any characters that you already have. EDIT: rule update! please read before creating new characters!

and please read below for my thoughts on how i will begin the role-play;

so.. i was struggling with where the role-play could start off. i knew that i wanted it to begin after the alpha announced they would need to move to a new territory, perhaps the second day following the storm. but, i know that drama usually keeps role-plays go'n so it doesn't get boorrrinnngggg, so, instead of having them just continue walking in the line, i think that we can implement a lil fantasy weather here (????? idk i don't know weather man things) where another big storm is coming on which made the alpha and beta/higher-ups finally decide that it is time to move, especially because their territory is demolished and won't house them anymore.

i don't want any confrontations with stranger wolves yet/huge threats because it is just the beginning of the role-play. (for instance, everyone finding the loner, accalia. i think accalia could be hanging around/approach her secret "friend" in the pack, like pine, but i don't know if it's time yet for her to be found. maybe a couple days into the role-play, rp time.) but i want there to be urgency to move to keep the action going, and i want there to be time for the wolves to begin bonding...

so that's where the search for a shelter comes in. ultimately, they find somewhere to camp for the night, and bond as the storm roles over. it won't be nearly as bad as the storm that wrecked their camp, but it is an impetus to get drama in the role-play going without being too overpowering. then they can navigate maybe flooding or something the next day as the next dramatic challenge, etc, in each new terrain. terrain itself, as i had planned before, isn't enough for drama.

thoughts?! i'll have a clear starting point this weekend so we all know where to "pick up" in the role-play! ...to begin this weekend!
