    palenose
Pale grey tabby with blind blue eyes. She has a generally small build and is medium to long furred, her nose and ears are sharp due to her lack of sight.
    She cat
I see her as a river clan cat to be honest
Rank, I think either med cat OR queen
Palenose is shy and timid, always quiet and reserved around others. Her misted eyes makes her self conscious and prefers to be around only those she trusts. She can fight badly and her hunting isn't much better yet she is a gentle soul.
She has a powerful sense of smell and hearing to make up for her combat skills. She is intelligent too as being blind stops her from being confident in any way.

    I think that's it.

Name Rating: 10/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: This name fits her completely. She's pale-furred, and has all around very good senses (with the exception of her sight, of course).
Alternative Name: None!

Character Rating: 8/10
Character Reasoning: I think that a blind cat could very easily have some confidence if they have a great skill like tracking. She can be reserved and timid, of course, but I'd think that she would be pretty good at interacting with others. Cats with heightened senses tend to be able to pick up the slightest tone change in a voice, or sense the air of a conversation. For this reason, they tend to be very good at social interaction, and hard to fool. Of course, her being blind doesn't help much, but she should have no issue working her way around it if she's so used to it.

Oh my wires! Coming back to this in the morning after a nice long sleep (yay) was the best thing ever ^^
Thanks so much! For Willowtail! Or as she's being called now, Clovertail~! After doing a bit of thinking, I took your name because it would work a lot better for the plot I'm thinking of at the moment, and plus, it's still all flowery!
About the Clan~ it's been a while since I read the books, but I think they could be a bit like SkyClan?
All - or at least most of the Clan came from kittypets or loners who never knew a thing like StarClan was real, so they couldn't believe in it. The only reason they class themselves as a Clan was because of their old Leader (Horsestar) who used to belong to another Clan (StormClan) when she was younger. When that Clan kinda..., died, she left and became a loner, and then a few moons down the line, she made her own. But because of her 'hate' towards StarClan (I won't go into detail, this is getting a bit too long, sorry!) she never said anything about it. She also never got her nine lives, nor does the new Leader (Owlstar) have his nine lives.
The other Clans around the area also have back stories, but I won't go into those. They also have no code, right now at least.
The med cats also only have a very small love in herbs, meaning nine times out of ten, they don't save many lives. I'm still working on the story itself, trying to get the right cats in place with where they live and the Clans, so everything is a bit messy at the moment :'3

For Batfang, I'm going to keep his name - for the only reason I worked on him a bit last night, and made him very, very proud.
But I'm going to go with your thoughts on having him train apprentices! That would work well, seeing as they live around caves that flood very easily.

I can't thank you enough! I'll be back once I work out a few more kitties I think :'3

My father passed away at the end of September after a long period of intense illness. I apologise if you are waiting on a trade or PM reply; please be patient while I come to terms and deal with the legal consequences.

Hey Arc! Had an idea for a character and since it's like, 7 in the morning and I'll be gone all day, I wanted to post it to ya here.

Image/Description: Long-haired dusky brown-black she-cat with pale green eyes. (think Macbeth)
Name: Need a suggestion on this - was thinking something with Bat, though, eheh.
Gender: She-cat
Clan: None atm!
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: This cat grew up with a rash mother who was very overprotective of her (as she should be as a mother!), inspiring in this cat a similar outlook to life. This cat is rash, overly suspicious of strangers, and can be especially blunt towards others in her opinions on them. As a young apprentice she felt as if the code was just a general guideline, rather than a solid ruleset, and would do things to fit her liking, which her leader (as her mentor) corrected time and time again (mostly causing her to get in trouble a lot, and causing her to be seen as hot-headed and traitorous, even though she did nothing wrong, getting associated with the clan's troubles at the time). She has settled a bit now that she's become a middle-aged warrior, although she still acts as if she's more valuable than others (despite her giving about the same as the rest of the Clan hunting and fighting wise). She may be abrasive at first, but as with any cat in her clan, she will end up tolerating a stranger if they stick around for long enough.
She is a skilled stealth-fighter, choosing to ambush her enemies and "crush" them underneath her seemingly stocky and large frame, yowling loudly as she does so. She enjoys fighting, and some would say she goes head-first into them. She is good at hunting, but not as good as she is with fighting. She is afraid to swim, due to her heavy pelt, and her climbing is a little below average. She is about as observant as everyone else.
Important Notes: Nothing!

I'm glad Clovertail went over so well for you, haha!

Now that I've seen the proper background behind the Clan, I think that's completely fine. They have repercussions behind not gaining any advice from their ancestors, which is marvelous because I rarely if ever see a Clan that does that (it's always the "evil" Clans or just a Clan that's full of atheists).

Batfang is completely fine too! In fact, it's a very good name for him, and renaming is only done with the consent of the rename-ee, so that's all good and well.

Do come again, I like these cats I've seen so far!

Sup broski.

Name Reasoning: No need for a rating, I think. Bat- could work for her, though I'm imagining a few different prefixes so I'll suggest those. And she is a fighter, so of course she gets the -claw suffix.
Alternative Name: Beetleclaw/Spiderclaw. I'm feeling the bugs on this one, for some reason.

Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: My only question is why she'd bother with stealthing it up when screeching like the devil would be terrifying enough. Tearing into the battle, fur raised so you're twice your size, teeth bared, and howling like you're on fire would be a good fright for anyone. I guess stealth could work in that advantage, but she seems like someone who wouldn't bother going up quietly before attacking.

Hi! Haven't entered a cat in a while, hope you like her!

Image/Description: A small black cat with brown paws, belly, and tail. She has a grey splotch on her back. Reddish-amber eyes.

Name: Burntpelt

Gender: She-cat

Clan: She'd probably be most comfortable in WindClan or ShadowClan.

Rank: Warrior/Queen

Personality/Skills: Burntpelt is great in hunting, and her small size is an advantage when fighting. She is cunning and can outwit a large enemy in battle. Burntpelt is secretive and tends to keep to herself.

Important Notes: She has three kits, Treekit, Thrushkit, and Mistkit.

Thanks in advance! C:

Happy to have you back, and happy to help! (I think I may have gotten a little harsh, apologies if so.)

Name Rating: 5/10
Name Type: Canonical
Name Reasoning: I've got a few problems with her name (and a few with her pelt, too, but I'll cover that later).
For her prefix, Burnt- is not a very good name (even if it does sound cool), for a few reasons. One being that Burnt- with -pelt would indicate a cat who'd lost all their fur to a fire or something, because it's an adjective rather than a noun. Compare Spiderfoot to Deadfoot, for example, or Greyface to Tornface. Reason 2 being that a lot of things look different when burnt, and burnt things usually are little more than ashes, which would be an unfortunate implication on the mother's part. Finally, a kitten can't look like burnt or a burnt. They can look like sleet, or ash, or cinders, but they can't look like burnt because burnt is a past action rather than an actual thing.
Her suffix is only picked at because she's a great hunter, and skill goes over appearance.
Alternative Name: Sootwhisker/Blackwhisker. Soot- still has the connotation of a fire, and both it and Black- are for a black cat. Her suffix indicates her hunting abilities.

Character Rating: 7/10
Character Reasoning: Her personality is fine, though I'd suggest a little more depth to her than one or two traits. It's her pelt I'm weirded out with. Black with brown paws and a grey splotch isn't really a thing in nature. It could easily translate to a reddish-brown cat with a white foot or something similar which is more realistic and a little easier to describe. I'd change her coat, and then add a few traits here and there to her overall persona. She could be a fan of the rain, or likes to eavesdrop and use the info she hears as mild gossip, or she could be afraid of swimming.

Thank you for the tips! And, no, you didn't sound harsh C: Her coat was weird because a friend wanted that design for her character.{I thought it was a tad weird too!} She's Sootwhisker now! I think maybe a black cat with a brown belly would be good. Thanks for the help!
