being born into a litter of two wasn't only easy, but a bit spoiled. she could shove away her brother aspenkit, whenever she needed! but, the two were very close. she was one of the stand-alone kits, you would have ever known she had another litter mate. she grew up with both a loving mother and a loving father, quailfeather and kinkstep. her mother always looked out for her, even as apprentices. her father was always teaching her something new until his death.

She was given her apprentice name on time, like normally, along with her brother apsenpaw. the two still got along, until apsenpaw was found to be crushing on a rouge. he tried to explain to her, but she hated the fact her brother lost his loyalty to a rouge. she was furious at him, how could he fall for such a cat? she didn't know, she didn't care. later, her brother told her he was going to keep seeing her. fallowpaw responded simply "If you must, then you will. If you get caught and exiled it is your problem." with a snort. the two haven't talked much since then, or in the last moon.

when they were receiving their warrior names, mother talked to each other. it was a grim silence between two siblings that used to be as close as the sun to the sky. but it was broken. fallowpaw received her name as fallowheart. for her loving care for everyone and everything, besides apsenpaw. apsenpaw was named aspenbranch, for the way he reaches out to everyone with a sturdy welcome, besides to fallowheart.

now, as a queen pregnant with kits, she wishes she was close to her brother. it would be nice to be with him, but it is too late. she doesn't even know if aspenbranch if out with that rouge anymore, if they are mates. even if they were, she would be mad, but she would know him. it is too late.

alderkit had always been on the loving side. he would always use his manors, respect elders and be a kit! he loved his sister fallowkit dearly and vowed to never let anything stop him from being close to her. it was hard with her free spirit, but he felt with it easily. Until Chicago.

Chicago was a cat alderpaw ment. he was only about 9 moons, her being only 8. they became great friends and would meet during the day, when he promised to hunt. She helped him hunt and let him take all but one piece of prey. She was a very humble cat and so was he, so he wanted to tell his sister. A moon later, he told fallowpaw. She exploded, yelling at him made her cry. He felt terrible, but he still went with Chicago that night, finding comfort in her.

Alderpaw then became a warrior, one of the most depressing days of his life. He became Alderbranch, which he didn't care for because he wanted to be a rouge with Chicago. They had talked about it before, that they would leave and raise a family of their own, possibly live to see their kits find love as well. But it was smashed the next day when Chicago stood at the border. She was shaking and had her ears flat and fluffed tail. Alderbranch rushed to her, they talked quietly, but only to figure out that she is having another tom's kits.

It crushed him, the thought of her kits being someone else's. they started to bicker each next day, his heart turning to led. the last day he saw her and apologized "I love you, but I can't. Raise the kits with love, tell them about me or not." his soft voice at the time still rings in jhis head clearly. at first Chicago wanted him to raise the kits, but he declined. he said their fates were separate and left.

now, he is 25 moons. what happened was only six moons ago. he wishes he was with Chicago still, he wishes had had raised the kits with her. but now, he is scared to show any feeling besides arrogance. He also wished he was close to his sister still, his now pregnant sister.
