Starclan + Skyclan

STARCLAN:
yes, a roleplay where you can roleplay dead cats, yippee.
Starclan is in chaos. The dark forest have invaded during a crucial time in the beginning of Skyclan.
They get two prophecies and all they know is one is about Starclan and the other is about Skyclan
SKYCLAN:
Skyclan starts by being attacked by rouges and foxes at the same time; to repentance whats going on in starclan.

So Whatever happens in Starclan happens to Skyclan and the Medicine Cat (Darkleaf; open) finds out and tries to solve it; little did they know it was the leaders kit and a loner who would change everything.

The Shattered Heart will break the cold with the help of the Warm Storm
(Shatteredice, the loner, will stop the waaay to strong bond between Skyclan with the help of Firestorm, the leader's kit)The darkness fades into the light

hey this is just a basic idea so far ! shinonome (東雲) is a group of ghouls who wish to eliminate the ccg and create a world where ghouls no longer have to hide. in response to the deaths of multiple investigators, the ccg has put together a squad to combat the situation. this will be semi-lit rp and have twelve or so characters. pm me if you're interested, have any ideas/suggestions, or want to co-own !

a few weeks ago i marathoned all three of the most recent planet of the apes films; while browsing the roleplay forums it occurred to me that i'd love to do an rp based on them - but also that i might be like the only person out there who would. it would probably include both canon characters (ex. caesar and his family) and ocs. the thread would probably include a summary of previous events, so you don't necessarily have to have seen the movies to be a part of it.

the specific timeline setting and plot aren't really concrete, though I have two main ideas:
a. takes place between rise and dawn, where the plot is centered around the apes trying to establish their society and build a place to live. in this case the conflict would be largely character-driven, added to by smaller plot events.
b. takes place around the same time as dawn, with an already established ape society, but probably with a twist or a different plot altogether so that it doesn't play out exactly the same as the movie. something like a much smaller population of humans or a conflict among the apes that threatens to split (or does split) one tribe into two or three smaller tribes.
c. open to suggestions for other settings!

it would probably be a relaxed semi-lit, about a paragraph per character per post. there'd likely also be some species limits for original characters - an unlimited number of chimp/bonobo ocs but limited numbers of gorillas/orangutans, to reflect the way the population appears in the films. anyway, pm me if you're interested at all!

Okay this is an idea for a Pokeon roleplay which includes both canon and oc characters from the game series

A new land has been found, one that is suspected to only house wild Pokemon. The champions along with one male and one female trainer from each region are called upon to lead an investigation to the new "region" to see if it is inhabitable and to see if any new Pokemon could be found. While exploring the island, they discover copies of every legendary and mythical Pokemon known and that they are being produced by an evil organization that his called themselves Team Clone. This team is former members of each organization that had been found in the other regions that wished to try and do something "great." Team Clone has successfully recreated copies of Pokemon, which the island is full of. None of the Pokemon found in this land are normal. Some are discolored due to some mistake in the cloning process while others may just be much smaller or taller than their species usually are. Nonetheless this team now has legendaries at their disposal and is planning to launch attacks on each region, one by one starting with Kanto. It is up to the champions alongside their selected trainers to dispose of this team and bring an end to the cloning process and somehow get rid of the clones to assure that they don't cause problems for the regions in the future.



If we get enough interest, I plan on having more spots and allowing more trainers per region, but I thought I'd keep the number small-ish to start to see if people were interested. Both the champions/trainers could be canons or ocs and I would be fine with people playing the clone wild Pokemon or even being part of Team Clone so they don't have to be NPC characters. i have an idea for a humanoid roleplay based on magic, with some inspiration from the arcana (just for the magic thing)
in this roleplay, there would be around 6-8 people with magical abilities. these people could be common people in their village, ones that no one pays attention to, or they could be widely known and loved. the empress calls all of them in one day with a special quest -they must escort her to a village far away so she could discuss with their leader. their countries were on the verge of war, and the meeting is extremely important. despite what they say, it's either they escort her and be rewarded or they refuse and get kicked out.
on the way to the village, a ten day trip, they would encounter beasts not of this world, demons, and other threats like bandits. they'd have to protect the empress and possibly give their life for her. once arriving at the village, they find out that the meeting was not what to be expected and they'd have to escape with their empress, and prepare for war - or prepare to stop it.
this rp would take place in a totally different world from ours. villages in one area would all be linked to create a country. there are only two of these. every village would have around only ~400 people, with around 50 villages in total.

Something I've been chewing on lately as an idea would mixing tabletop elements into forum-style RPs, specifically to make characters a little more balanced and the roleplay itself more fast-paced. There are also aspects of D&D and tabletop games that I feel would really be interesting in CS's prose-style roleplays, but am a little unsure of how to implement. Specifically, I think that things like puzzles, and rolling for combat and speech with NPCs could be used to help move the story along and create some variety in the types of characters and plots that are created. I also think having a DM/GM type person would be really interesting, specifically because from what I've experienced in forum-style RPs is that plot can be very hard to move beyond introductions since it can be difficult to have RPers come across different scenarios without taking a fairly long time.

I've heard of people playing tabletop games on forums and online before in general, but I've never played them online myself and am concerned with how I'd go around doing it, especially in terms of things like rolls, and the potential for character death and combat (not gore or extreme violence, to clarify), which are kind of taboos right now in the kind of roleplays CS has.

If anyone wants to talk about it, or is specifically interested in doing something like this, let me know! I don't have anything specific in mind planned out as a roleplay with these things, but I'm in love with these kinds of mechanics and would love to bounce ideas off of someone and see where things go.

Just wanted a quick check to see if anyone would be interested in a Soulmate Roleplay in a high school/boarding school.

Basically everyone knows that one day you'll find your soulmate. In the rp, You can find your soulmate, or be a "Soul Lost" Individual, someone who spends their life without a soulmate.

You identify your soulmate by their heart. It will start glowing brightly and your world will fill with colours. Soul Lost people can get a soulmate IF they and another Soul Lost character fall in love and sacrificing something for each other. If not, they will be alone forever.

And the school you go to so happens to be one where everyone has found a soulmate, so they say.
