Personality: Talkative, forgiving, courageous, and thoughtful, Lucas is ideal for diplomatic missions. He doesn't hold grudges very long and even if he tries, he can't stay mad anyway. He tends to be very open with his emotions and he isn't afraid to ask questions. He is pretty much the definition of friendly. However, Lucas is fairly impressionable and it doesn't take much to win him over. He sometimes comes off as overbearing because of his friendly nature and in some cases he is extremely impulsive.
Appearance: Dark brown eyes, curly brown hair and a silver earring in his left ear.
History: As a young child, Lucas was very friendly and he loved animals. Both of those are still true today. He always enjoyed talking to the animals around the house and until he turned 13, he was quickly becoming a fan of singing. Until he got into an accident that resulted in total loss of his hearing. Basically, trauma to the cochlea stopped the electrical impulses from reaching his brain. When he finally recovered, he still knew how to talk, but without being able to hear himself, he quickly became self-conscious of what he sounded like. Eventually he stopped talking all together and used sign language to communicate. Thinking that Lucas was becoming a bit reclusive, his friends banded together and bought Jellybean, an African Gray Parrot for him. He bonded to her and taught her to speak through audio recordings. When the Apocalypse hit Colorado, he was at a severe disadvantage because of his inability to speak or hear walkers. However, his family helped keep him safe and he soon learned how to use a gun.
