❖ A gentle breeze blew through Trinity's tawny pelt as she stood atop a hill miles away from the reserve. Though still quite a distance away Trinity could feel Serenity closer, she was more than excited. So happy! She couldn't wait to be reunited with her twin. It's been long. Twelve long years but she would have never given up hope like their parents did. She could always feel some sort of connection to Serenity and over time she learned how to pay attention to the feelings she got in order to find her sister. She heaved a rather heavy sigh and sat down slowly on her haunches. What on earth was she doing? Would Serenity even remember her? Why was her sister at this…this reserve? Trinity was completely oblivious to everything that was occurring down at the reserve she saw in all its glory below her. The small she-wolf pinned her ears and tossed her head skyward, almost she howled…almost. She decided against it. She had no idea what lay at the base of that hill. No idea who lurked in this forest. She had no idea how long she sat on that hill, quite frankly, she had no idea what time it was when she arrived. She long ago lost a sense of time, she only knew sunrise and sunset mostly. Her human form? She hasn't seen that thing since she left her parents two years ago. Would she even remember how to walk on two feet?
'Stop rambling and take your furry rear down there!' Trinity scolded herself mentally before slowly pushing herself to her dainty paws. 'Here goes nothing. It's now or never.' She told herself and set down the hill at a painfully slow pace. Her heart was racing…just as fast as her thoughts and probably tripling the speed of her paws. It wasn't too long before she hit level ground. Just another part of her journey to Serenity over. She was frozen still…but only momentarily. The proud, confident, young wolf walked through the forest with her head held high and she even dared walk with her tail high as well. How was she to know this was to be pack grounds? At the moment it remained loner territory and it was free for all to roam, with no stupid pack laws.
The sounds of a bubbling brook met her ears and the slightly darker triangular ears swiveled to her port side. 'I could go for a drink. And maybe I can try to find something to eat soon after. I don't think I ate yesterday.' Her mind was fully occupied by water and food as she turned direction and that paired with her weak sense of smell did not prepare her for what was next. Plodding along at an easy gait Trinity ran smack dab into Kathrine as she rounded a bend with a yelp, falling back onto her rump. Immediately Trinity was shocked by the power she possessed. She had never met anyone with a higher power level than an eight and the difference between eight and ten was tremendous. But, this adolescent was bold, if not stupid. She huffed and shook her pelt free of debris as she stood back up. Trinity bared her teeth at the other wolf and flattened her ears against her skull. She was at a loss for words but nonetheless her instinct to defend herself was stronger than her instinct to submit. She had never had to do so, raised mostly in the human world and away from wolven customs. "Who are you?" She questioned, though her hackles were raised and her teeth bared her tail remained low and she didn't dare utter a growl.

➹ Toby? Late? Probably. Did he care? Not particularly. The oddly shaded and marked wolf pranced through the forest. He didn’t mind being late. He didn’t too much mind even being yelled at or snapped at. He was pretty good at getting himself out of bad situations. His pale eyes scanned the trees of what would be his new home curiously. 'Pretty. Lots of running space. And I'm sure lots of prankable places and wolves.' He noted mentally as he launched himself over a rock, thankful his parents had advised him to send his belongings ahead and travel as a wolf instead of as a human. Boy, did he love the way dirt felt under his paws and the wind in his fur. Sure, human form had some perks but being a wolf was far better. "Hum-da-dum. Ba dumdumdum." He hummed along his way, not caring enough to be quiet. This was his new territory, after all.
He wondered what his new pack mates would be like. Would they be nice? Did everyone already know one another? Hm, his mind was just so curious! He couldn't wait to see if there was a library or if anyone had any pets! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy with each step Tobias got more and more excited! The tall male wagged his tail and he picked up speed, his new pack and life awaited. Were all the wolves from Canada too? Or was he doomed to be the only one with a funny accent. That thought slowed his roll a little bit. Tobias took a deep breath and carefully observed his surroundings.
A soft, pretty sound filled his ears. "Hm?" He uttered aloud before heading towards the noise on silent paws. He caught a glimpse of a younger girl sitting against a tree, hopefully before she noticed him he slipped silently behind a bush in the shadows and watched her. He stood downwind of her, good. Her scent wafted towards him, that allowed him to evaluate her. Loner. That was the first thing he noticed. He pinned his ears. What was protocol for this? Was he supposed to report her to the alpha? Leave her? After glancing at her once more he decided to leave her be, she didn't seem to be any threat to the pack, plus, her power level was even less than his from what he could tell. Yeah, no threat. She probably just wanted to enjoy her alone time and who was he to disturb her. Tobias went to turn and leave but he wasn't careful and stepped on a twig, snapping it. He winced and froze, just knowing she'd have heard it.
