Not seeming worried about being late, Kameko dawdled after everyone else. As he approached the building, he couldn't help but tip his head back to watch the architecture as he walked past, it was a masterpiece in itself. "I'd love to paint that sometime..."He murmured to himself as he toddled after his friends with the speed of a snail. Once he finally managed to catch up to Akira, he walked beside her, humming to himself and yawning slightly. He rubbed his eyes as he walked."Hey, Akira. What is it we have first?"He asked."Please don't tell me we've got all of the annoying kids in first class..."He mumbled, he didn't want to be with all of the students who picked on him on the first day back to school. Silently praying he was wrong, he took a few deep breaths. "In...and out...calm down Kameko...it's only a lesson...but they're always chewing gum aren't they?" He shivered as he muttered to himself under his breath.

"Yeah, I agree with Kameko. Expect, I don't think they'll get to first base." She chuckled. With no time to saying anything more, the seriousness of the situation being that the numbers around decreased, and there was only one minute left to get to class, Kaede scouted their group, seeing everyone was talking. It nerved her how oblivious or unknowing they were of the time and Kaede had no time for this crap, she had no time to explain, even though Akira already did. Hopefully her dart off would signal it. "Come on, Bustas!" Feeling like she was running a marathon, she darted off to the doors quickly opening them and racing in, the doors not even shutting yet. She didn't give a crap about looking around, she rather hated the sight of the inside of the school now, since she's been to it for 2 whole years before now. She knew where the stairs were, the class, the ways to dodge others in the hallway, she had it all down. Making it to the stairs, Kaede doubled stepped her way up 2 flights before being completely out of breath and speed walking to the classroom, "Woo hoo. Oh god." Shrugging to make it to her seat, all of the breath has been kicked out of her and her side cramped up. Cursing on her breath she got her desk and sat down weakly, laying back and just taking a second to catch her breath, hoping her friends and newbies would make it, probably not.

"Uh, yeah." With a small and weak voice, not really up to talking to others just yet. He ended his entry and softly placed his notebook in the sling back he had to the side of him, then standing up to walk to class. Yet with the sudden realization that their class was on the third floor and they had one minute broke him almost from being late on the first day. It triggered the sense of alertness noticing the sudden shoot off by the girl who he heard was Kiaday? Worried as hell being late on the first day, as soon as he made it inside of the building he tried his best to copy the girl in front of him who knew exactly where to go, but the flush of other student bumped into him and it was amazingly over whelming. Also double stepping up the stairs, and as soon as he made it to the third floor, Miki mildly shuffled, waving to their teacher and took a desk more in the center of the class. Huffing he got to his desk and softly placed his head on his hands, Eugh. He felt like crap but thankfully his fatigue would leave and his awake self would be more than glad to partake in the beginning of school. He partly blamed himself and mostly on the other students for interesting to much to get to class.

Watching one of the Sakura students suddenly start bolting past everyone else, Kaoru briefly considered the possibility of something being wrong, such as a fire in the building, but dismissed the idea as his brain being out of whack from the late night. Sure, he had gone to bed super later over the break as well, but he was usually given the chance to get at least six hours of sleep by sleeping in very late. No such chance had been presented this morning. Wonder what's gotten into her. And what's a "busta," anyway? Still unsure of the girl's odd sprint, he started looking around the hallway of his new school, not particularly interested but wishing to familiarize himself nonetheless. Suddenly, his eyes landed on one of the clocks placed around the school, checking the time. So, it was 7:59, was it? 7:59... 7:... 59... "Wait up! Wait for me!" he suddenly shouted, breaking into a similar dash just as Miki had the same idea, running just behind the shorter boy. He knew that class was starting soon, but hadn't brought a watch with him, and he hadn't had any idea that it this late! Whizzing past other students, he yelled things such as "Sorry about that!" and "You should be in class!" in the wake of all the inevitable run-ins he had with the mass of moving bodies. Reaching the staircase, he was silently thankful for Miki and Kaede being in front of him, because his own sense of direction was absolutely the worst, and he would have more than likely gotten lost trying to find the classroom on his own. At first, he followed their actions, taking the steps two at a time, but took it one step less for the last flight. Being late would be bad enough, he didn't want to go into the classroom huffing and puffing like he was the Big Bad Wolf. Once he got to the top landing, he slipped through the door after Miki before it could close and used the last of his energy burst to run into the classroom, muttering a quick "sorry" to the teacher and making a beeline to one of the available desks in the front left side of the room. He did his best to disguise his minor panting as he took his seat, and attempted to sit up straight instead of giving into slumping, like his body wanted him to.

Akira chuckled at Kaede's and Kameko's comment. "Whatever you say, but I get 10 yen when I prove you wrong."
She looked over at Kameko as she started to break into a fast walk - it wasn't her style to run, even if the writer kid and Kaede, as well as the rest of them were going to. Akira was just find with loping along with Kameko. To be honest, out of the entire group of current Sakura residents, they were probably the most laid-back. She rolled her eyes as Kaede burst out in her unusual language - the endearing quirkiness of her inventor self just couldn't be contained, could it? "Geez, what's life going to be like when that third year graduates?" she mused out loud. As the rest of them sprinted up the stairs, Akira walked in an orderly fashion down the hallway, heading into the homeroom with Kameko almost a minute later. Meaning, 10 seconds after the 8:00am bell reverberated down the corridors. "I think it's engineering - Kaede and Daiki are going to get a blast out of that." Since all the Sakura Dorm students had their classes together, each Sakura resident was forced to be in the classes that others specialized in. For today, the classes would be engineering in first period, then a break, then writing and English in second period, then lunch. The last two periods would be art and then music. Akira disagreed with the whole system, but what could you do? "Sorry, Sensei," she drawled on in her low voice when she entered. The teacher looked at her and sighed - this girl was a hopeless case of blunt harshness and laziness. Really, all the typical traits of a hacker. "Just take a seat," the teacher said, defeated. Akira sat down in her usual seat two rows from the back, next to Kameko. It was homeroom for now - with the some of the irritating regular students. After this, the Sakura programme pupils would leave to their separate classes from the normal curriculum.

Daiki laughed to himself as Kaede, Miki, and Kaoru ran up the stairs, heading towards their homeroom with the regular students. He grabbed Hinata's arm, trying to get her involved with them and smiled at her. "Let's go!" he chuckled, and sprinted up the stairs, tugging her along with him. In the corner of his eye, he spotted Kameko and Akira walking smoothly and dignified, as expected. Akira was just beyond help in their homeroom teacher's book, and there wasn't really anything the guy could do about that lazy computer girl. He bolted into the room with Hinata behind him at exactly 8:00am. According to daily routine, Akira and Kameko would most likely enter a few - if not more - seconds later. There were a few snickers in the room as all the Sakura students rushed in, the air heavy with their frantic attempts to get there on time. They were all on time except the hacker and the artist. But a few seconds late was much better than some of the records Akira had set in the past. He beckoned to Hinata to sit beside him. "I'm Daiki Ichinose, by the way," he whispered. "I don't know if I even introduced myself properly when we first met." Looking back to the teacher at the front, who was talking about being organized and having the right mindset, he alloewd himself to doze off a bit. There was a limit to how energetic he could be. Ruffling his hand through his black disheveled hair, his eyes sparked a bit, remembering that Engineering was first period. Daiki made small paper airplane note and tossed it, sending it to Kaede's desk. It read: Engineering is first period - wanna sit together? He loooooved working with Kaede. As an inventor she was original and imaginative, putting the brains to the skills as Daiki helped her with gears and fitting and all the other technical areas.
      ....
"And, that's it for homeroom. Run off to your classes now," the teacher said, directing his statement to the Sakura students. The regulars would stay in this class, but they would be going off to their first period. Daiki got up and gathered his bag, inclining his head towards the door to the rest of the Sakura students - current and new. "Let's go to engineering!" he smiled.

Seeing everyone else rush in after them was very immunizing in the right sense. Yet seeing Akira come in with a nonchalantly attitude made Kaede disappointed in some way. Mentally, the inventor set a goal for herself to get out some strong emotion in the hacker one day. Before she could find out she was day dreaming a small piece of paper made way to hitting her hand. Almost flinching out of her seat back in conscious, Kaede managed not to make enough noise to alert the homeroom teacher. Opening the papers folds, hand writing shaped out 'Engineering is first period - wanna sit together?' Obviously from Daiki, she chuckled a bit, but interrupted before she could send another one back; the teacher had allowed them to leave for engineering class. The the whole of the Sakura Dorm students were in the hall, walking solemnly to the next class. Grinning at Daiki's outburst when they all seemingly entered the hallway, she managed to pull of a speed walk towards him, even though she was still a bit out of breath. Beside him, he punched him in the arm softly, pulling out the small paper, "Sure dude!" Even though it wasn't inventing class, where they would discuss and review other pieces of work and making your own over the course of the semester; engineering was more or less practical knowledge in order to design, build, maintain, and improve structures, machines, devices, systems, materials and processes. Being severely close to Inventing, which is to make up something. Engineering something was a bit more advanced in how things work and how things work together to make something, then to those been used in the next class, Invention. That's kinda how Daiki's and Kaede's relationship works anyways.

During the homeroom period, where the teacher would quickly review over the classes and call those out for roll call, and then let go the Sakura Dorm students to go to their first period after homeroom, engineering. Miki slide in his notebook back from the table into his bag and walked with the other Sakura Dorm students into the hall way. Every time during his first day of any education enhancement, the first day sounded like white noise. Like how his relationship's work, he's a hard nut to crack, but when he is he can be overly nice to those he trusts, only to disregarded like a piece of boring newspaper; The whole reason Miki has trust issues, but wants to go all in a friendship to let others know he can be an awesome friend. He tracked the white noise, looking around almost seeing everything as black and white, like being in his own world. He saw others walking, some talking, and at the front of their almost can be classified as a pack, was probably Daiki and Kaede, names he learned from the roll call. Without a sense of looking in front of him, he softly bumped into the back of Kameko, almost scaring him being that Miki was tall enough to be just below a foot of the tall student. Miki, for a male, was considered short, and the height differences sometimes baffled him, mostly over himself being short as crap. He backed away a bit, moving more the right hopefully the artist didn't notice. Half tempted to go movie cliche and whistle.

Action: Being with other Sakura students, in homeroom

Hinata noticed the black haired girl stepping forward, who, somehow, seemed to already knew exactly who the newcomers were. It scared Hinata a little, but it saved her the trouble of introducing herself to the rest, for now. So, these were all students from Sakura Dorm as well? It was a relief to have found her new dorm mates already, and they seemed quite nice, actually. Especially the boy with the green eyes, who approached her first, he was very kind to her and he made her feel more at ease in the group. Then, the boy had found another Sakura student, the writer; Miki Ueda. Hinata looked at the writing boy, he looked very kind as well. When the green-eyed boy mentioned they should be going, Hinata looked at her watch. Indeed, there was just one minute left before class started! Meeting all those students caused her to totally forget about the fact that her first class was soon about to start. She saw another black haired boy waving at them, and he came to greet her and the new students with a double handshake. He introduced himself as Kameko Tamae Nikki. A strange name, but it seemed to fit him. Hinata accepted the boy's hand, a bit unsure at first, and shook it. So, he was an artist. Art wasn't really Hinata's thing... Still, the boy seemed very kind and Hinata hoped they would get along well.

Oh, that's right, they were supposed to go to class! Usually, Hinata wasn't this forgetful, but it was such a strange situation she found herself in, with all the introductions, and of course a new school... Everyone headed to their homeroom, which was apparently located on the third floor, or so she heard. One minute left, and they were still so far away from their classroom... Hinata worried that this might become the first time of her life being late for anything... Suddenly, she felt the boy with the green eyes, whose name was still unknown to her, grab her arm, dragging her towards homeroom. A blush appeared on her face, overwhelmed by the fact this boy just grabbed her arm like that, and she followed him to their homeroom, where she was forced to sit beside the boy. He then finally introduced himself properly. Daiki Ichinose was his name... She never said anything back, just stared at him, her face still red from before. It never happened to her that someone was so friendly to her so short after they first met, after all...

As for the rest of homeroom, Hinata couldn't really concentrate. It was nothing like her to be distracted... Before she knew it, it had already ended, and their first class was about to start; engineering. A subject that, even though it wasn't her specialty, interested her a bit. Daiki especially, seemed to be very excited about their next class. Hinata also stood up, and nodded, a soft smile on her face. "Y- yes!" she said, softly, but enthusiastic, and followed Daiki to their new classroom.

He was shoved to the side by a few of the students, causing him to let out a shy apology as he made his way into the hallway, trailing behind the others slightly due to being held up by the other students. The walk was quite stressful for him, he could hear other students talking about he and his friends as they passed, he could feel their gazes burning into his face, into the back of his head, pricking him like the tips of dagger blades. He gave a shaky sigh, and when someone bumped into him, he turned around, seeing Miki looking quite guilty."Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."He apologized quickly, bowing his head with a shy smile on his face, he wanted to get to know the new members of the pack, and it seemed it was a bit of an awkward start for meeting Miki, but he didn't seem all too worried. Looking up when he heard someone snickering as he passed, he sighed softly. He then began begging silently that the engineering teacher wouldn't make the usual mistake of calling his name out with the girls as it just embarrassed him even more.

Kaoru had, in essence, given in to his body's wishes, and after about a minute of sitting up with his back straight, realized that the teacher didn't seem to be paying attention anyway. He spent the rest of his homeroom class with his head pillowed in his arms, which were crossed over one another on his desk, silently listening to the teacher. Or, at least he had been, until the tune he had been writing last night popped back into his head, and refused to vacate it's apparently comfy spot. "First period already?" he mumbled quietly to himself when the teacher dismissed the Sakura students, lifting up his bag from where it had been thrown on the floor next to his on his earlier haste. Before anything else, the brunet stretched his arms over his head and cracked his neck, not caring if it drew a bit extra attention on his part. The students were staring at him anyway, right? When that was all said and done, he stood up and slung his dark green backpack over his shoulder, and followed the rest of his actual peers out into the hallway. So, engineering class, was it? Sounds interesting... But, at the same time, it's probably really confusing... he thought, tilting his head a bit as he pondered what exactly the class might be like. He noticed that Daiki and Kaede were walking and talking at the front of their little group, while Kameko and Miki seemed to be engaged in some sort of exchange of apologizes.

And, at that moment, it hit him: he had no idea who to sit next to when they got to class. Daiki and Kaede seemed to have something worked out, so who did that leave? Miki was still a mystery to him, and while Kameko seemed like a nice, caring guy, it was probably best if he helped ease the smaller boy out of his shell before all else. That mean that Akira or Hinata were most likely his remaining choices. The former, on one hand, was someone that had piqued his interest, and he truly would like get to know her better. On the other hand, though, she didn't seem like the type to be overly friendly with someone she wasn't familiar with, and it wouldn't do him much good to automatically assume he was her friend and then annoy her with his company. The latter was someone who looked to be the most shy out of them all, Miki included, and it would probably do her well to know that she could make some friends here. While he was positive Daiki without a doubt would have that covered, the older teen was preoccupied at the moment, and his kindness could be a little... overbearing at first. With that, he strode up next to Hinata, his backpack still slung over one of his shoulders, and an earnest look on his face. "Hey there, Hinata! Sorry for the rather, you know, sudden request, but would you like to sit next to me for engineering class, one new student to another? It's, uh, a bit embarrassing to admit, but I don't think I'll be able to understand everything about the topic on day one, even it it sounds like something cool to learn about. Maybe we can help each other out?" he asked, adding on a little smile at the end of his offer. Man, he didn't sound to forceful, did he? That wouldn't be what he was going for at all...

First Daiki asked her to sit near him, and now this boy wanted her to sit next to him as well? On her previous school, no one ever wanted to sit next to her... The boy, Kaoru, seemed a bit nervous about asking her, yet he was kind, very kind. It made Hinata feel a bit more relaxed when talking to him. "Okay!" she answered with a soft, but friendly voice, and smiled back at him. "I... I know a bit about engineering as well, I think I can help out a bit..." the girl then added. She had noticed they were almost at their next classroom, where the engineering class was about to start...

Overlooking the little conversations the regular students had in the corridors with regards to the new Sakura students, Akira stalked ahead, her gaze unwavering and disdainful of the normal students. She really had better things to do than bother about whatever shallow gossip they had to offer. But, that didn't mean she couldn't intimidate them. Her ears catching conversations in front of her made her inwardly shrug. It wasn't surprising that Kameko and the quiet Miki had gotten along. They would probably end up sitting together, and Daiki and Kaede were like two peas in a pod when it came to engineering or inventing. She just couldn't wait for Data Computing-Philosophy class. Unfortunately, it was on tomorrow's schedule, not today's. She travelled at the back of the group, noticing that Kaoru and Hinata had paired up. Daiki would be torn about that, she silently chuckled to herself. But, as usual, she was the lone wolf. She didn't particularly care, but they would probably have to pair up into partners for the class anyways - that was how the teacher usually started out. She swept her dark fringe out of her face and turned left into the classroom as the rest of the Sakura Dorm students in front of her went in. She didn't mind engineering as much, as it allowed her to see how things worked and it helped her understanding of technology. Sliding into a seat in on the far end of the class, she sat back in her chair and crossed her arms. "Welcome to the new students," the teacher greeted. "Usually, when we start classes, we usually pair up, but what with the odd number of people, I suppose one of you will have to work by yourself. Volunteers?"
Akira rolled her eyes. Really? Was it not obvious or did this woman have a puny brain? She exaggerated a sigh and raised her hand, glaring pointedly at the teacher. Really, nothing irked her more than stupid people. Or at least, people she deemed stupid.
"Thank you, Akira. Since today's the start of the term, we're gonna start easy by looking at the history of engineering - with a focus on trains and transportation." Smiling at Daiki, her favorite student, she booted up her laptop and projected what was on her screen on the board. Akira was more interested in the cabling and wiring of the computer to the projector than she was about what was on-screen. "Well, the idea of the train first started when..." Her voice trailed away and Akira narrowed her eyes and focused on something else that piqued her interest, which was what was right in front of her. Diagrams of cross-sections of different machines (computers included) and labelling and the way they worked. Most of it was basic knowledge to her, but some aspects needed a little more foundation. Without looking away from the papers in front of her, she tore off a scrap piece, swiftly folded it into a small plane with her nimble fingers that landed on Daiki's desk. It wrote: Sakura needs more food - the fridge is low on stock. I need help shopping for groceries. Get someone to help me. As usual, she wrote in the way her mind worked. Frank and to-the-point. Lazy too; she couldn't be bothered with asking everyone. Just get Daiki to do it for her.

Daiki grinned at Kaede's shared enthusiasm. As the group turned into the classroom, he quickly claimed two seats at the front for him and Kaede. The engineering teacher loved both of them, though that wasn't particularly surprising, to say the least. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Kaoru and Hinata sitting together, and Miki and Kameko coming in. Akira trailed at the back of the group, as usual. To be honest, he was a bit sad he couldn't sit next to the pretty Hinata and caught himself looking at her for a bit more than usual. Keeping himself from going red, he stared straight at the front, trying to look oblivious. Kaoru would be good to keep her company though - the guy seemed really nice. Daiki had a feeling they would get along. But then again, Daiki got along with nearly everyone. Akira sat at the far end of the room - of course she was staring at something else. She wasn't all that rebellious - Daiki had known her for one and a half years and she actually was a very dedicated, focused individual. But that didn't stop her being a bit too loner-ish. The teacher was going to talk about the history of engineering transportation, which was something Daiki especially focused on. It was a good way to start off the semester, and he smiled at Kaede. After about 2 minutes of listening, when the teacher had turned her back, he felt a light poke in his back and looked behind him, Akira pointing to the ground. It was a paper airplane note.
Opening it up, it read: "Sakura needs more food - the fridge is low on stock. I need help shopping for groceries. Get someone to help me." Of course she was going to make him ask someone else instead of her doing it. He shrugged, letting himself become a bit defeatist and thought for a bit. He wanted Akira to get more involved - it wouldn't do any good for her to stay cooped up to herself while the rest of them interacted. Deciding quickly, he thought it would be good if Kaoru went with her. She had been awfully blunt to him and Hinata the first time, but Daiki secretly wanted to talk to Hinata more. Folding two notes quickly, he sent them to Kaoru's desk and Akira's desk. The note to Akira read: Kaoru's going with you. The note to Kaoru read: Would you mind going with Akira to get groceries for Sakura? Tell Hinata I need her to help me with setting up your rooms, with me and Kaede.
