Monty the corgi's ears pricked up, hearing distressed yelling. With a bark he ran off. Rikimaru yelled after him but to no avail, the little corgi was already gone. With a sigh they went back to freeing the medic.
Monty sniffed his way through the ship, able to navigate it with his short stature. His little tuft of a tail wiggled as he found a pile of food that had spilled over. He took a moment to munch on the food -which was thankfully fine for dogs- and licked his chops once done. That was about a days worth of rations that the piggy little corgi had eaten.
Exiting the ship through a peeled off panel, Monty sniffed around and followed the sound of Thue's yelling. Finally finding the two humans, he barked and began jumping up on them happily.

(Sorry it's short, hard to roleplay a corgi sometimes)

Reinen gasped in pain as Rikimaru lifted the hunk of wall of of him. His arm was definitely broken. At least it was his right arm. His left arm was fine. If there were other people injured, he could at least attempt to treat them one handed. He tried to free himself from the toppled table with his free hand. He tried to stand, craddling his arm. Nicholas was the other crew member there in the med bay. Nick had a wicked piece of metal lodged in his thigh. "Lights," Reinen commanded, hoping the voice activation in the med bay was still online. The darkness remained. All the various instruments he needed to help Nicholas and himself were flung about in the crash. Most of the supplies were secured in their storage, though. But they were useless if he couldn't see what he was doing.
"Hang in there, Nicholas. Don't try to remove it. It may have punctured your femoral artery. Just sit tight." Reinen fumbled around for emergency lights. The ship started to shake. Reinen grabbed a tricorder and a dermal regenerator and braced against the bolted down bed. What was going on.

The girl was right. The ship was shaking. Maybe it was settling in the crater they had made. He crawled, cautiously to the window and peered out. Something very large was moving around out there. He couldn't tell if it was dawn or dusk on this alien world, but it was dark enough that it was difficult to make out more than the flickering light of burning debris in the crater, and the ridge of disturbed rock and soil their impact had created. This was an unsettling discovery. Theo backed away from the window. The thing outside could wait. The crew needed attending to. He helped Wesley to her feet. "We need to go assess the damage. I need you to help with that. So I need you to put your panic aside for a time. Do you understand?" He laid a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You can do this. When we've got everyone secured and made sure the ship wont explode under our feet, then we can freak out, ok?"

Wesley looked like she was still on the verge of tears, but she swallowed once, wiped her eyes, and nodded. She could freak out later, she had a ship to save. "Diagnostic systems are offline," she said, "As, I assume, is everything else. We're lucky this place has breathable air, I don't think life support is working either. We've lost entire sections of the ship, not sure which ones, the hyperdrive's in pieces, and the engines are too. We need to find the rest of the ship, hopefully I can... I can..." The engineer trailed off as something outside the ship caught her attention. At first, it looked like the ship was sinking, but, as she moved to the window and took a closer look, she saw that it was in fact the ground that was rising around them. Well, in front of them, anyway. "Umm, Theo?" Wesley asked, unable to tear her eyes away from the strange sight, "I think you should come see this."

It was huge, impossibly huge. a massive, triangular head, ringed by glowing bioluminescent lights, attached to an even more massive triangular body. If it had eyes, they couldn't be seen. It didn't even seem to notice the crashed ship, it just kept rising, up and up, five stories tall, standing on three legs the size of small spaceships. Wesley couldn't see the top of it anymore, but she assumed that the trees she'd seen earlier were growing out of its back. It was certainly large enough. It stepped forwards, its massive foot blotting out the sky, and, for a moment, Wesley was afraid it was going to crush them. Then, the foot kept moving, another tremor shaking the ship as the massive creature set it down. A few minutes later, the creature had passed over them, moving on to who knew where.

Minerva was floating, and so didn't actually feel the tremors, but she did notice everyone else was feeling it. "The crash knocked out my seismic sensors," she said, "but I'm assuming the ship is shaking? Probably just us settling into the crater, nothing to be alarmed about." One of the Owl's manipulator's extended, and light flooded the room as the floodlamp concealed in it blazed to life. "Think I might have to talk to ALEC about getting some extra subroutines installed. There's only seven of you all left, I'm going to need to be more than just a repair drone."

Quiet, apart from a faint rumble in the distance. Puck slowly lowered their hands, losing themself in the landscape around them. It was dominated by trees not too unlike the ones back on Earth, but seeming somehow heavier, more solid, and richer and darker in colour than the ones Puck knew of. They blinked a few times and took a deep breath; a miracle, really, that the air here was breathable. It didn't feel exactly like breathing back home, or even on the Zodiac, but it was oxygen alright. Or at least some equivalent - to Puck's dissapointment, it didn't feel like the breath of fresh air they assumed they would get once they finally left the cramped aircraft. The air felt heavy in their lungs like it had been stored in a box for years. Puck raised their eyes to the sky, listening to the strange, unknown sounds of the planet and--barking?

They snapped their head back down. Yes, it really was barking. It wasn't exactly a familiar face that came running towards them from amongst the trees, but it was welcome nonetheless.

"Montague!" Puck called out, "Come here, good boy!"

They slid down from the roof and let the corgi jump into their arms, laughing despite themselves as they got their face licked. Oh god, Puck hoped the dog's owner was alive, too. With the dog in their arms, they went back to the separated spaceship part and knocked on the door to their room.

"TJ, Montague is here. I'm going to let him lead me to the others," they called out, then let the dog back onto the ground. They looked at him expectantly. "Okay, Monty - show me where our friends are."

Another rumble, louder this time, made snap their head in the direction of the sound. Puck's eyes widened as the forest moved - no, as the gigantic creature carrying the forest on its back stood up. Puck's jaw dropped. They gulped.

"And we better hurry."

Montague tilted his head quizzically at them. Wiggling his little nose, he sat down and scratched his ear. Suddenly his ears pricked like he had heard something and he stopped. Standing up, he began to waddle back into the ship through a narrow crawlspace. His little legs had no trouble navigating the broken ship, but not all the paths he took would be viable options for humans. Happily padding back to Rikimaru, he seemed to have forgotten about the two people he ran off to collect. Truly, the mind of a corgi is one dimensional.
Rikimaru watched Reinen talk to Nicholas, smiling faintly to themself, glad to see that others had survived the crash. They braced themself as the ship shook again, looking to where Montague had disappeared in worry. They blew into their dog whistle again and prayed their little puppydog would come back. They held their temple in a hand, their headwound still bleeding fairly freely.

August

Dead bodies. Dead bodies everywhere. Even from his outside vantage point he could spy a bloody arm through the mangled door, and like hell was he going in there. It wasn't like the lab was going to be of any use anyways. So if not the lab, then...?
Gemini was blocked off from most of the ship, he could see that. And there did happen to be a convenient gash in the wall nearby. The air was already established to be breathable, and at this point it might actually be worse staying inside- after all, who knew what substances had leaked out in the crash. So outside it was. Still a little shell-shocked from the crash and ensuing chaos, August worked his way out of the hole, getting his first view of the foreign landscape.
Wow. There wasn't much else to say about it. Tall, spire-like trees dotted the land, backed by an enormous mountain range. The air felt like he was on a jungle tour, and he swore something passed over the ship, faintly illuminating the dusky sky. Quite frankly it was terrifying, and August hurriedly began following the perimeter of the ship, searching for a way back in.
ALEC

"So. What's the plan now, guys? Exploration? Because there are definitely aliens out there. Aliens. Don't tell me you humans can't see how cool that is. Seriously, lighten up a bit. Everyone dies someday, yeah?"

"Now, we gather what crew we can, and try to fix what's salvageable. For now, I need you to run as many diagnostics as you can. See what systems are still online, which are functional and which are a total scrap job." Theo instructed ALEC. The next few hours were critical to their survival.

"We're going to need to downsize a lot, too," Wesley said, "There's no way we're getting the whole ship back off the ground again. If we can just get the Taurus section in working order, it should be able to get us back into space, and, if I can get the hyperdrive working again, back home. We're not going to be able to do any of that without parts, though, which we'll need to scavenge from the rest of the ship. Also, ALEC does have a bit of a point. We aren't alone down here, and it was our mission to explore, so maybe we should do some of that too. Who knows, maybe we'll find something that could help. I think I've still got some prototype Owl units back in Taurus, if they survived we might be able to upload ALEC into one of them. Then we'd have two probes to scout around with while the rest of us get to work here." There's stuff out there that could squash us like we could squash an ant, I don't think I want to be the one going outside.

Minerva, noticing that Rikimaru was also injured, grabbed a dermal regenerator from one of the piles of clutter on the ground and went to work on them. "Again, I'm no doctor," she said, running the instrument over the gash in their head, "but this should stop the bleeding. I hope."

Theo nodded in agreement. "Yes, exploration is part of the mission, but the safety of the crew comes first. Let's move." He made his way through Aries section and through the hatch to Taurus. Taurus section had been wrenched around and now rested at a weird angle as compared to the rest of the ship he'd seen so far.

Reinen was glad to have the little Owl-bot helping out. One arm was messed up and the other was shaky from stress and nerves. His head throbbed where he had hit it in the initial jolt that had knocked the ship out of the sky. He went to work, carefully removing the piece of metal from Nicholas's leg and quickly healing the underlying vessels so that he wouldn't bleed to death. His leg would be sore for a few days to a week, but he'd recover just fine.

[Nicholas]

He notices something being thrown over to him, causing him to sit upright from the table. He would've moved to help the man, but thankfully Rikumaru had it under control. Watching as the doc pulled himself from the wreckage, Nicholas frowns at Reinens words. 'Punctured what? That doesn't sound good at all.'
"E-excuse me?" he asks, seeming flabbergasted at his current situation. Grimacing as the man went to work on his leg, he turns his head away from the wound, uncomfortable with the sigh of blood. 'great, this is just great...'
" Thanks Reinen, I owe you one. Big time." he says with a sigh as he finishes up. Gazing over at Minerva, he nods to the owl. "You too." he adds, knowing the AI would most likely get sassy with him if he didn't show her gratitude as well.
