About to walk up the hill, she felt a bit of wind rush past her, and she blinked while looking back
It was another female.. or it seemed to be in the blurr of body as they passed
She wasn't sure where the other was going, so she stepped to the side and lifted her wings in order to move off at the same speed of the other, and to catch up while soaring close through the air
She was half bird after all

As Carmen was running to reach the town, she heard a strange kind of wind whistling above her. When she looked up she was startled to see another figure with long, graceful wings soaring above her, she stopped then to study the new arrival, hoping they were friendly. She couldn't be sure until they said something.

Carmen stared blankly at Aaryn for a second before answering. ''I-I uh, I wanted to get into town, I don't have any food and I thought maybe there's some down there.'' Carmen answered with a shy stutter. She wasn't used to talking to many people. Especially one with giant wings.

"Hey! Where are you going! Don't give me the cold shoulder from these puns!" he laughed and followed after her

In order to stop her, he came up behind her and picked her off of her feet, swinging her up and into his arms

He staggered back and hit the wall hard before growling and yelling after the two

"Oh there's food alright.. but its in cans. If you're not familiar with figuring out how good food is I can help you.." she suggested while crossing her arms with a smile
"Plus you can't go alone.. The infected are down there.. you might get hurt if you get in too deep."
