Rai//dragon-cloud elemental//18//manor guest//tags: open, Adelia
Raijin had just recently moved in to stay in the manor after having been turned away at apartment complexes and inns because of his strange features-namely, his hair. I wasnβt as if he could control the small bits of lightning it produced when he was hungry, after all. In any case, he hadnβt been there long but had already found himself sprawled out on the ground right where a bit of sun streamed in through the window in one of the houseβs many hallways. He didnβt actually see any of the glances sent his way either, so he was mostly undisturbed until he started hearing the clinks of dishes being thrown together in the kitchen.
He sat up with a small yawn and dragged his fingers through his very fluffy but very tangled white hair. It was no use brushing it considering how wind seemed to constantly sift through it anyway, but he felt that he should at least give the half-hearted attempt to comb through it. It didnβt end up working, as always.
Rai blinked softly once he registered the figure of a girl-a maid? and sat up curiously, watching all the while as she snatched up an apple and started heading towards a room he had yet to explore. Shortly after she left his sight, he glanced around the room he was currently in and got up to follow her. The human-turned-dragon had his fun sliding on the smooth floors with his socks on until he accidentally slid into the wall as he tried to turn and enter the ballroom after Adelia.
βWhoa...β The late teen breathed upon finally entering the ballroom, unaware that following someone might have been seen as rude. Instead he got distracted by the shining chandeliers and peered up at them with a large grin on his face.

Carlos//Magician//17//manor guest//tags: Irene, Kiki, open
Carlos waved off the apology with a light chuckle, starting to walk over to the closest hallway to begin the tour. βOh, really, itβs fine. Iβve just never experienced the mythical world in real life until last year, so this whole time Iβve been a bit... overeager when I see someone Iβm interested in. Er, not like- eh, you know what I mean.β He mumbled awkwardly, scratching his cheek in an effort to do something with his hands.
βI donβt think we have any other northern stone spirits here, but it is good to be proud of who you are. Iβm sure some of the others would be excited to meet you too. Anyway, howβs the library sound for the first stop? Personally itβs in the run for my favourite room here.β The magician listened when Irene continued on about her species, frowning ever so slightly when he mentioned that there were a small amount of them left. He wondered what brought the numbers down so low, but the way the other cleared her throat made it obvious that it was a sensitive subject. βIβm sorry to hear that. If you end up getting in touch with one of your friends, Iβm sure no one will mind if you invite them here,β He suggested hopefully, opening one of the doors to another segment of the house and holding it for her.
A quiet laugh rang from Carlosβ mouth at the gargoyleβs comment about liking him from the start. βIβm touched, thank you. Iβm usually a bit awkward around others so I really appreciate your saying that. And these people really are more pleasant than outside.β He hadnβt really talked to too many of the people a lot, but from what he could tell they really were friendly. Irene would probably get along with them in no time.
At the last question, Carlos tilted his head to the side thoughtfully. βTo be honest... I donβt really know what I am. I grew up with humans until I decided to come here, so Iβve just been referring to myself as a magician. I can do a bit of magic on my own, and any spellbooks I think are fair game. Also I have a weird hole in my chest that kinda glows. Iβve been reading a lot about different mythicals but I havenβt seen anything that matches that description.β
He stopped talking once they reached a set of very big and very decorated doors. βOh, here we are. Maybe you could find a recent record about gargoyles here?β He wondered aloud, glancing back as he opened both doors simultaneously with his telekinesis. After taking a few steps, the magician noticed another figure out of the corner of his eye. βHey, Kiki? Is that you?β He called softly. Libraries did have the reputation of being a quiet place.
