BIG WIP NO POSTING
Torden spring event, since animals do be caked in mud this time of year.

After a long, hard range ride the wranglers and I were able to locate a new area teeming with wild Tordens! They are definitely in need of a bath and a good trim, but there are too many for us to handle! If they aren't removed from the area there is major concern amongst conservation groups that there will not be enough fodder to support such large herds of these horses.
That's where you come in!
Within a paddock, there will be horses up for adoption but we need records of taming or the conservation group will give the removal job to someone else. And we don't want that now do we?
You will need to document each stage of taming you have done for this horse! How you gained it's trust and attention amongst the paddock horses, how you were able to clean it up and give it a trim, how you came up with a name for it and its personality thus far, how you were able to begin training and exercising, the list goes on!
This is a very special opportunity for you to truly bond with your wild Torden and a special insight to how you handle your tordens!

Stage One is simple: Have a Torden choose you! This will happen when you enter the paddock one by one and if you are chosen by a Torden then you get the chance to lure it out of the paddock and into your trailer. If a Torden doesn't choose you? Well, come back the next day and try it again. There are plenty to go around, so maybe the Torden for you just didn't see you yet.
Stage two is the beginning stages of training: Desensitizing. How did you convince it to allow you to touch it? Did it try to bite you? How did it react when you fed it? Would it let you into the pen with it to begin with? All of these things will need to be documented thoroughly so that the conservation group knows you are making an effort to tame this wild beast.
Stage 3 is important: Brush it free of debris and decide if you want to give it a haircut or not. This is after the initial stage of Desensitizing has happened and the Torden has officially approved you as part of its herd. Tell us how it reacted to the initial brushing, did it love it or hate it? Loathe it entirely? Give us an insight to their quirks.
Stage 4 is Training: Introduction to halter and lead as well as saddling. You've almost come to the end of your trial and your Torden has complete trust and faith in you. But will it let you halter it? If so, how about a saddle? Give us details about how it reacted to your initial training.
Stage 5: The first show! Tell us what kind of show, how well they did, how proud you were even if you didn't win! You've won with the Torden itself, that is the true reward.

This area is for your initial forms of registration. If you don't have this filled out then you won't be allowed to get in line and acquire a Torden from this event. And if you missed a round? Don't worry, you can come back to do it again when it reopens. It should also be noted that you can NOT reenter the paddock until you have completed stage 5 of the Torden's taming.
