Horsey has just told me that even though I started before the 21, since I forgot to post in the original topic until yesterday, that I will not be receiving a free custom or any other prizes. I regret to inform you all that I will not be completing your equids. I really would like to, but I really wanted a custom equids because I see people with like thirty of them (^hint hint^) and I have only gotten one in my whole year and a half of trying. Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful for Ezekiel, he's my baby, but I just don't think it's fair....sorry guys. Maybe I'll re-open this when the due date change, but for now this is just shut down.

The 200 Wild Mountain Equid Challenge

Those who have started it and complete it will be awarded their gifts in return, but anyone who starts it after 21/10/2013 7:35GMT will not get the rewards if they complete it.

This challenge is a free to enter challenge where you need to draw 200 already created equids to win yourself a custom equid. This may sound easy but there are a few rules.

Rules:

• You must make a unique lineart for the contest to colour in.
• Where possible get permission though I don't know many people who refuse free art.
• You must save them all to one image at the end (Even if they shrunk as long as you can see the quipping).
• You can do just the head and neck, an extra bonus goes to those who do the full body.
• They must be free. You cannot charge people for the colour-in.
• You can only do this once. If you continue you have my respect but you will not get another custom.
• There is no time limit. This is on going, so take your time, enjoy it.
• You need to say you'll do it here, it doesn't mean you must complete it, its just so I know a start date should the rules change
• As more equids are made the number of equids required for the custom will increase, so once there are 1000 equids it will go up to 250

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do we need to do unique art for each equid?
No. You can create a lineart unique to this challenge (one that hasn't been/won't be used anywhere else). You won't get a bonus prize for each one being unique as there is no prize I can offer that is worth it!

Can we do our own equids?
Yes. You can include your own equids.

Can I draw the same equid 200 times?
No. You need to draw 200 completely different equids.

Do I have to message each equid owner to ask to use their equid?
It is pollite to but messaging up to 200 different people is a pain. I will try and gather a list of equids that owners have given permission for people to use.

How do I give permission for my equids to be used?
Leave a message here with links to equids you own. They will then be added to the list.

What colours of custom equid can I get?
You can get any common colours, including roan and dappled. You can't get a quipless equid, you can't get birdcatch spots or chimera, you can't get a themed equid (dragon, tabby, bird, animal, etc.)

What do I post to say I accept the challenge?
Something along the lines of "I accept the 200 Equid Challenge.

What program do I have to draw it in?
There is no specific program as long as you host the final result online so it can be added to the list of successful challengers!

Does the image need to be a certain size?[/b]
Both the original images and final compilation can be any size, as long as each equid can be recognised.

[u]Why will the total required go up?
It's not a challenge if it's easy. I don't want too many people to complete it, it's unfair on those with busy lives.

I saw a 700 equid challenge. Can I do that?
No. That challenge is reserved for that player. If you do 700 you will still only get one custom, and my respect. But no more then one custom.

Which artist will do my custom?
Whoever has the most free time at the time.

Does every person who completes it get a custom?
Yes. There is no limit on the number of customs.

Is there a time limit?
No. Take your time. Relax, enjoy it.
