I would think the concept of the old story ever happening would collapse, just how if you go back in time you change the future, if someone messes up what was originally meant to happen that concept would collapse and a new future set of events would be arranged in order to fit the new story that had been molded out of the old one. Like they broke a puzzle piece and re-wove it back together into a new puzzle.

what if 2 unfinished branches grow into each other and begin to intersect, and at the point of their intersection the splinters of the universe grow into one another causing the two realities to leak into each other, therefore inducing black holes carrying Existence's fabric from one existence and swirling into an atomic particle stew of multiple dimensions and then what if the 2 branches begin to fuse causing a catastrophic unity as the 2 stories grow together to form a single enormous branch consisting of 2 leaked universes?

What if they imagined something that no matter what in any universe would just make absolutely no sense?
Like what if they were at school and imagined their head suddenly exploding?
That would therefore create a splinter universe potentially identical to theirs, but the only difference is that in that moment in time, the person's head explodes, which still wouldn't be scientifically possible because the physics in the 2 universes are exact?
