territory ::

Located in a national park in western/centeral Washington this clan lives in a wet, fern littered pacific temperate rainforest. Their territory consists mostly of Douglas fir and western hemlock trees, however a variety of other trees can be seen In the territory as well. The underbrush of the forest consists of native ferns, flowering plants, many mosses, as well as nursery logs Riverwood's territory has a series of twoleg walker paths, none of which are big enough for monsters, however twolegs have brought their dogs along the paths often; luckily most twolegs stay on the paths and dont stray far from them. Along the Eastern edge of the riverwood territory a small creek, if you follow it outside of the territory it turns into a waterfall that cascades down some mossy rocks however other then that there really isn't much in the territory that is amazing.

Prey/Predators ::

There have been many bears, bobcats, cougars, and coyote spotted in this area, but they have been easy to avoid and dont attack often. The air-predators consists of owls, hawks, and bald-eagles, however staying out of open areas can help avoid these predators. The cats in this territory are most often seen hunting for squirrel, chipmunk, mice, long-tail weasels, and many different kinds of birds. Some other animals seen in this area can include; beavers, porcupine, raccoon, skunks, mule deer, frogs, and snakes.

Basic information ::

Founded by the brave warrior and current leader, Valleystar, Riverwood is a clan on the side of a mountain surrounded by deadly predators. The cats who live here are brave warriors who stand up as a whole, together.
The members of this clan are a little outside the normal clan cats, for starters the name isn't as simple as ___clan the name of the clan describes the territory they live in. Other then the name, the cats here- when working together- can build! They can't build anything amazing- no hammers, nails, wood boards, or really anything that requires thumbs; but they can weave branches, dig holes, move rocks, and collect materials. Occasionally the clan will even collect clay or mud from to local creek and mountain to strengthen their builds and add support to their branches. A tradition and ability passed down from the founding clan; Flightfall through the guiding words of Vallystar.
