"I am leader, and very much alive. and I have chosen who will be the next deputy." she shuddered and stood still, then.."I say these words before StarClan, that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of FrostClan is Riversong."

Riversong stopped grooming herself. She smiled and stood up.

Winterstream heard Solarstar and metally made a note to congratulate Riversong. The shadow cat purred. "She needs help...help you can't give her...am I right?"

Winterstream didn't shout at the shadow cat. "Put her right. NOW."
