Why yes, indeed Apollo was doomed. The bay Kelpie left him with no way out or the lake, and he was too far from the other side of the border to swim to it. He was already tired from such a long run with no break, and after "taking a swim" in that stinky lake wasn't the best of his ideas, either. "Oh well.." He muttered to himself, frowning. "Alright, bro. You got me, I surrender!" He said, swimming to the margin where the Kelpie stood still, his head lifted yet his eyes set on him. By then he could already feel the sand under his hooves, and walked out of the water. "Sorry for the run, old man. I hope you're fine." Said Apollo, shaking his mane and throwing all the water on the other horse. "So, now what? Will you take me to prison?"

"Take you to prison? Stop all this tomfoolery child. Come, let's take a walk." Shallo started to walk away, slowly. He kicked up a little sand in Apollo's face. "That's what you get... Apollo was it?" Thoughts of what Shallo was going to talk about to Apollo stirred in his mind. Why did he ask for Apollo to talk a walk with him? That, not even Shallo knew. He just kept on walking, waiting to see if Apollo would follow, or take this opportunity to make a break for it.

He can be very over protective of his friends and family. He can easily be your best friend, but make him mad and he'll be your worst nightmare.

The young stallion shook his head to send the sand away, and as he lifted his head, he stared at the other kelpie for a moment. Well, maybe not an invitation for a tea party, but for a walk it was! Nice, way better than prison for sure! Apollo smiled, following his apparently new friend. "Sure! And yes, I'm Apollo. What about you, old man?" Asked the boy, interested on knowing more that big bay Kelpie. Actually, not that big. Slightly taller than him. Apollo walked now by his side, looking at the mossy path of grass on the way.

Mood:Content- bored.

Location: Around the herdlands
Crush: No one.

After leaving, Dexter wandered aimlessly.
The sun was just setting- so he didn't have
To meet Mirela for a few more hours.

He walked aroun, looking around at the
Swivveling Fire Flies and hanging moss.

He decided to head back to the herd- and
see if he coould chat with anyone there.

Dex Is now open for interaction with any other Kelpies ^^

That's great, now its getting dark, and I'm a walking meal for anything really. Vanity picked up a trot and headed to the pond to get the blood and mud off of her pelt. She made it there just when the sun hit the horizon. she walked into the deeper section and got all clean again, with just a few small cuts.

She shook her wet fur and mane then headed back to her new home at the herd hoping someone else could possibly talk to her. She made it back and looked around. She watched as a few mares and foals settled down to sleep while others, like her seemed to be restless.

Shallo quickly turned his head and smacked his horns against Apollo's side. "My name is Shallo, and I'm not and old man, you better wise up there son." Turns out Shallo was having a grand ol' time teasing Apollo around. He;d never had a buddy like him before. And having someone to talk to during the day wasn't such a bad idea. After all those years of being alone, with someone by Shallo's side, maybe he could have fun, once again. Like in his younger days.

Apollo smiled, bouncing his body sidewards pushing Shallo's. "Hahah, yes you are." Said the boy, shaking his mane. "You know, I don't think I've ever been to this side of the swamps. Do you know if there are good fruit around here?" He searched for that nice scent of those juicy purple apples, or anything of the sort. Indeed, that part of the land was pretty smelly, yet it had a nice view to look at. Well, now that the young boy had a friend to share with, things were starting to look up.

Damien walked around the Bayou, bored.
His ears swivveled, looking for any sign of other kelpies.
But with no signs.

He listened to his footsteps.
The soft thud of hoofs on sod and Moss.
But all of a sudden something tugged on his long antlers,

A low hanging branch had caught on his horn.
He struggled to get out,

But as if on que a little mare walked out, looking at him
as if he was crazy.

He stopped and looked at her with a embarrest smile
He pulled himself free, but still had a bit of moss
Hanging from his horn

Neither said a word yet.

but he's not sure of anything more.

He gave her a deep bow and smiled thoughtfully. He had hoped to enjoy her company a bit longer but he knew her importance as lead mare, "Until next time my dear, well of course that is as long as you don't mind me encroaching on your territory for a while longer." He glanced in the direction of the pond, he would probably still wander down there to enjoy an evening with the fireflies. Besides there was still a good chance that he would encounter another fair lady on his excursion.
