He still kept the smirk on his face, trying to play it cool while flirting with the tom. " Well come on then, let's go find one " he mewed, acting as if nothing unusual was said. He padded a bit up ahead, pausing a bit and glancing back at Maplefrost.

he sneezed after his mate's tail made contact with his nose. He felt the she kit shift and he glanced down at her smiling. He nuzzled the two kits before returning his attention elsewhere. He scented Eaglestripe near by and shifted slightly, bringing his two kits closer to him, curling his tail around them, being overprotective. He glanced at Freekit once more before looking upwards again.

He had caught a glimpse of EagleStripe and tried his best to hurry over. "There you are ... i saw-" He cut off when he looked into the nursery and saw Freekit beside another kit ... who was near SandStripe and RobinTail. His face went completely red and he chuckled nervously. "o-oh ... um ... i-i can explain ..." he began, though trailed off as he nervously tried to find an excuse to explain the kit's similarity to EagleStripe.

The cat had frozen in place, his face and tips of his ears a bright pink, almost red, colour from his embarrassment at the words he heard. He tried to keep up, though his leg's began to wobble and his thoughts got a bit fuzzy. He eventually caught up to the tom, though avoided eye contact, nervous that he'd just make even more of a fool out of himself if he looked over toward his crush.
