Spottedtail suddenly remembered something, quickly padding up to Owlstar as she exited the medicine den. "Owlstar, I have to tell you something...."

"Yes, Spottedtail?" she asked, though she sensed it was urgent.

"Thorntalon, as I'm sure you know, is in our territory. He plans to make sure Ivyfern is dead..." She whispered. "He said he'll be back, and he will be leader."

Shadowpaw listen to the cat's talk from the medicine den, swaying his tassel slowly, for he had never heard of Thorntalon.

(Bramblepaw and Honeypaw are in the medicine cat's den and Owlstar and Spottedtail are outside.)

She remained silent for a moment. "I've heard of Thorntalon. He tried to overthrow my father when he was leader. I never met him though. Thanks for telling me, would you want to lead patrols? No cat should leave camp alone."

Thorntalon swayed his tassel on the ground as he stalked a rabbit through the ferns. Suddenly, the tom leaped off the ground, caught the rabbit in his jaws, and cracked his neck swiftly, feeling it go limp at once.

Petalkit

She walked out of the nursery, purposefully leaving her little sister behind. Petalkit wanted to get some space from her sister, so she walked around the clan a little bit, glancing back at the nursery every now and then to make sure her sister wasn't following her. She knew clan life better than her sister, mainly because she didn't let Frostkit out of the nursery very much. Frostkit didn't question it...often. Petalkit was worried that her sister's hyper impluses might get her into trouble. She didn't want her hurt.

Frostkit

Frostkit opened her eyes, looking around for her sister. She was confused on where Petalkit went but shrugged it off and stretched her back. Yawning, she sat up and looked around the empty nursery. It felt cold without her sister, they were literally the only two kits in the clan, she often wondered why no one wanted to talk to them.

Bramblepaw blinked, then nodded to Aspen, turning his gaze to Honeypaw. "Yes, really." He murmured gently.

Spottedtail dipped her head to her leader, giving a slight flick of her tail. "Of course, if you'd like me to." She replied with a soft smile.
