Fallenpetal felt her heart chip again. She lifted her paw and backed away, fear shining in her one eye. She turned around, sprinting away.

Fallenpetal ran past the territory and kept going.

"I... I... I love you." She said, looking deeply at him. "I knew you liked Fallenpetal though... But..." She whimpered and looked toward the ground.

Hawkstar bolted after her. "Where are you going?" He yelled toward her. He stopped though, and sat on the ground. It didn't seem like she loved him anymore. SHould he had just gone with the kittypet? He didn't know, but he didn't understand why Fallenpetal was running away. Did she hate him? He whimpered, and hit himself angrily. "STUPID STUPID STUPID!" he yelled at himself, hissing.

Lightningpelt was finishing his mouse he had caught, when he saw a beautiful she cat near him. His heart beat freshly and new. He knew he had to make his move. He darted to her, almost hastily. "Hi," Grooming his pelt to make himself more attractive. "I was wondering if you wanted to share a mouse." He said confidently. She was the most beautiful she cat he had ever seen.

caveclaw smiled " I like you, but I also like fallenpetal" he mewed stumbling backwards then disappearing and racing after Fallenpetal " fallenpetal wait!" he yowled, he stopped for a moment and then continued on

Fallenpetal kept running, she ignored everything. All her life, everything had gone wrong, and now, she just wanted to end it. She didn't know what to do, watch one of the cats she loved be with another or watch shecats crowd the cat who loves her? She didn't know anymore. Fallenpetal ran to a meadow, miles away from camp, and kept running. She ran into a snowy forest and found a cave, one that was aboveground, and a frozen river. She pawed at the snow, digging for a while, and dug up Spottedriver (her mom) and Pineneedle (her dad)'s bodies. She placed gemstones from the cave into their graves, buried them again, and lay in the cold, frozen, snow, crying.

Honeyleaf sits alone wondering what is happening. She feels lonely and wants a friend. "Where is the clan?"
She walks into the woods and shes a she cat shivering and crying in the snow.
