My eyes widened and I blushed, smiling at his excitement. "Yay!" I was happy as well, but gave a yawn and my stomach growled again. "Oh, but maybe tomorrow, I could use my first meal right now." "And she is just a baby, though she is growing up fast. This being her first day of life, she needs plenty of rest tonight. You're free to sleep beside and with her, if you'd like, Aztec." Paradise spoke up and smiled.

[Master of Nothing]

Crimson and Aztec-
Aztec smiled and drooped his eyes, daydreaming. Crimson came up behind him. "S'cuse me." she said, touching her son's shoulder. "I heard you guys were hungry." she looked down at Dawn. "It just so happens that I have nine cows up in the chill room. It was a very successful hunt last night, although I don't think that scavenger was very fond of Imagine and myself." she chuckled. "Anyways, there is one for each of us, if you'd like." she said.

I was curled up in my mother's arms when I heard there was food. I wiggled to get down on the ground to go eat. I jumped up and fluttered my wings, and Paradise picked me up onto her back. "Calm down, little one, you'll just get more tired." She walked up the hill faster than I would've ran, which was a positive, and she put me down in front of a cow. She used her talons to slice it open for me to eat better. When I went for a bite, I felt a bony bump in my mouth with my tongue. "Mom, what's this?" I started flicking at it with my tongue. She looked over and smiled at me. "That's your egg tooth, you'll lose it tomorrow." I nodded and went back to eating, the juices satisfying and meat filling and delicious.

[Master of Nothing]

The Fam-
Crimson chuckled. "KIDS!" she hollered. Liesel came first. She wore glasses like Aztec, but instead of glass, they were made of mica. She also wore a green cloth on her wrist. Imagine laughed. "What's this?" He asked playfully. Liesel tipped her chin up. "It's for exploring." she said. "The glasses make everything I see darker, and they look cool. The cloth does, too, except it can be turned into anything in a case of emergency. Erm, except the cloth doesn't make me see darker." she shrugged and smiled. Imagine laughed again and patted his daughter on the head. "Very fashionable, my explorer. Care for dinner?" he asked. Liesel nodded and started working on a cow, tearing it into choppy chunks. Next, Mirror and Symmetry came, riding on a skateboard. Mirror saw Liesel, so he pointed at her with both talons and made a clicking sound. "'Looks like our sis is with the groove!" he said. Crimson snickered and rolled her eyes. "You kids are all so funny!" she said, turning to Imagine. "I think we have some future trend-starters at our feet!" she teased. But then she paused and frowned. "Hey, why'd ya need treasure to get a skateboard, anyway? Did someone sell it to you?" she asked. Symmetry and Mirror blushed, which was obvious because their Rainwing sides had turned their cheeks pink. "Uh..." Symmetry began, biting her lip. Unfortunately, she was unable to form her next sentence. Crimson sighed. "Right. We'll discuss this when we have more privacy." she looked to her guests, hoping they would understand. She grunted and dragged her cow closer to her.

I finished up the bites I was eating, then fell asleep on the carcass. Paradise smiled and came over to me, lightly picking me up.

(Awwe... My power line was cut because of a heavy snow a few years ago... And yeah, we were hit hard by rain, too.)

Crimson, Mirror, and Symmetry-
Crimson sighed and finished her food. "Mirror, Symmetry, come with me!" she growled. "Imagine, you stay here with Liesel and Aztec, and keep the company of our guests." her husband obeyed, and began talking to Drexel. Meanwhile, Crimson began storming out of the cave in anger. She picked up Mirror and Symmetry by the scruff of their necks. They winced, not out of pain, but out of guilt. She plopped them down out of earshot of the cave, guarded by the waterfall. "You'd better start explaining." she hissed. Why hadn't I questioned them earlier? she wondered. "Now, I want to remind you that I'm not intimidating you, but you'd better behave!" (Honestly I don't know who should've sold Mirror and Symmetry the skateboard. Ideas?)

Imagine-
Imagine cleared his throat. "Kids, you know..." he said shyly. Aztec almost glared at his dad, but decided not to, because their problem was cleared up, and the new problem didn't refer to him. Imagine rubbed the back of his neck with a talon. "Uh... so, Drexel. How do you feel about going fishing sometime?" he asked nervously. He wasn't concerned about Crimson or the kids, but he just felt awkward.
