He took off too, flying so close that their wing tips were almost touching. He was not aware of this.

"I dunno." She yawned, stretching out and curling up on the ground. "I'm a little tired.."

"Then lets rest for a little bit, then." I lied down next to her and carefully put a wing over her.

~Kerosene~
I soared as my wings billowed out, curving along the strength of the wind. The tips of my wings felt a little chilly from the air, one of them actually felt something brush against it. I looked over to see that it was Drexel. I blushed and looked ahead again, seeing a distant, humongous shape ahead of us.

When their wings brushed, he flew a little bit away from her, blushing slightly. "What is that?" He asked as a big, looming shape entered their view,

Rowan
She was glad for his warmth, and snuggled against him, her eyelids drooping.

"That's the palace." As we flew closer, the shape became more clearer and obvious.

As I slowly slipped into subconsciousness, my wing slightly stiffened and pulled in a bit, then went limp and loose as I fell asleep.

"Yes, Queen Ruby didn't change much, she kind of fixed the prison cells, she isn't as cruel, like I said before. We have tomorrow until the event, so we can rest or so sightseeing. Even though the war is over, it's still strange to have NightWings here. Though nobody would judge."

He nodded uncertainly, already imagining the strange looks he would get. But he pushed that behind him, and smiled at Kerosene. "Well, you're the perfect tour guide, so why don't you show me around?" He asked.

I smiled and nodded, leading him through the halls. I showed him my room and Ruby's favourite places. I introduced him to some of the captives that I knew and who only had a short sentence. Lastly, introduced him to Queen Ruby, and showed him the arena.
