"Of course." She snorted, without opening her eyes.

I sadly dropped my head and walked away. "I-I thought you liked me though."

Frostbite got a shock of excitement and worry at the same time. "O-Okay, I'll give you some privacy." he said. "I'll be at my cave, so when you're done, you can fly over to me with the eggs or roar for me to come back." Frostbite smiled. He knew that wasn't the smartest idea, but it was the only thing he could think of.

Aztec sighed and rubbed his glasses on his arm to get the tears of, but it didn't help at all because one of his scales came off. "Yes, but my parents don't seem to want us together until we're older." he complained.

"We-we can be friends." I smiled, really trying to work on my speech, even though I hatched just that day.

"Friends." he agreed. He intertwined his tail with hers. "That'd be ok." he said, calming down.

I smiled and felt a heat rise in my cheeks which I didn't know what it was. "D-do you think maybe you could teach me to fly? I want to learn now so I can be stronger." I looked at the appendages on my back and fluttered my wings.

She just grunted in reply, her sides heaving a bit. Why do I have to lay eggs right now.. She thought, though she normally wouldn't have thought that-she was just having a bipolar moment.

Frostbite didn't want to leave her like this. "Okay, actually, I'm just gonna go over there by those weird trees." he said, pointing to some weird trees. He flew over to them and rested on one of the trees. The tree he was on was like any other tree but it was bent in the middle so it was like the corner of a square.
