Whiteleaf spotted a scrawny mouse nibbling around the snow. It must be starving, she thought. But, her Clan would be too. She crept forward and leaped.

Russetfang spotted a tiny hole in the ground, which must go down into a thin, long tunnel. The warrior decided not to believe that the hole stopped to where his paw could reach, and cautiously began to remove snow from above the tunnel, and he could see a scrawny, sleeping vole. Better than nothing, he decided, and quickly pounced, trapping the vole beneath his claws. The tiny mouse-like animal, squeaked and Russetfang clawed into it, killing the rodent. He picked up the vole in his jaws and set it atop the stump, glad there was still prey - no matter how thin - left in the forest.

"Nice catch," Whiteleaf commented after placing her prey on the stump beside his. "Hm...I wonder if there's anymore around."

Russetfang smiled, "You, too." He blinked and looked around, "Maybe. Let's just look around once more, although it doesn't seem like it usually does around the forest, bustling with prey."
