Seeing Whiteleaf had found or was searching for her prey, Russetfang went elsewhere, yet just far enough to the other side of the clearing that he could still be spotted by Whiteleaf. He dropped into a hunter's crouch, tail and belly just above the ground but not touching the ground, he stalked around carefully and quietly, sniffing for prey hiding in any small underground tunnels.
