Manestar felt like he was caught. He could do as Darkclaw said but He felt like he HAD to lead his clan no matter what.

Hiddenthunder just let the tears role down his afce and he put his head on his paws, tear's comming down his face. "Darkclaw just wants to have Mapleshadow. He knows if Manestar goes with Miststar he can have her." he murmered quietly, but just about everyone could ehar.

Miststar burst out into tears, infront of everyone. "i cant take this!" she wailed

upon hearing the comotion, Mosslight wandered into the forest, and came to the river. She sat down beside Hiddenthunder, hearing the mapleshadow comment. she flicked his ear gently with her tail. "dont cry" she begged, "everything will be alright"

Hiddenthunder gave up. He kenw there was no chance of him ever getting the one he loved. He took up. "You guys just have it your way! If i was gone, it would be much mroe simple to sort out!" he said, tears in his voice. He then turned and disapeared into the distance, tears running down his face.

AFter a while, Hiddenthunder was lost and hungry. He looked around, searching for some food. The rain was bucketing down and he was cold and hungry. "I'm gonna die lonely!" he cried saddly into the wind. He curled up, shivering in the rain.

Manestar looked at everyone. "I know this hurts but we should our separate ways," he said. It pained him to see Miststar in tears. He couldn't think of anything else to do.

DarkClaw sent Hiddenthunder a dark look in the direction he ran off, "you should be together, your clans will die if your like this.. there has been talks of war.. only you two can stop it.." he hissed "let your clans kill themselves or step down.." he added as he turned to leave "That hiddenthunder is nothing but fox-dung.." he hissed to himself

Miststar nodded. she looked once more at manestar. "goodbye" she whispered, than ran off out of the woods. She flew past the fresh-kill pile, tears streaking her vision. But she continued running, finally finding Hiddenthunder, and collasping-in tears-beside him.

Mosslight watched her leader dash off. She felt the pain Miststar and Manestar must be sharing. She glanced at Manestar, finally understanding what he was going through. There was no trace of hate in her eyes when she stood up and pressed her muzzled against his flank to comfort him. She pulled away, her blue eyes meeting his. "im sorry" she mewed, and turned to slowly walk off
