Still yawning, Foxcloud slid from the warriors' den, Applenose on her heels. She glanced around. "I wonder who'll be the deputy..." Applenose just shrugged.
"Want to patrol?" Applenose shrugged again in response.

Tigerstar straightened up. He scanned the clearing, deciding which cats to send on the dawn patrol. Hm...

Brindlepaw finally emerged from the apprentices' den. Silently, she sat at the entrance, awaiting her mentor's call.

Hickorysprout grumbled, she wasn't a morning cat, the thought of being up before the sunrise annoyed her. She rubbed her eyes with a fluffy grey paw and stepped outside the den. She had a few errands run, such as collecting some cobwebs and broom. Hickorysprout padded to the prey pile to eat something before waking up Dawnpaw. She picked up a small bird and took a hungry bite.

Alphonse poked his head back in the temporary den. "Matt, wake up fleabag!" He called to his brother.

Tigerstar flicked his tail before approaching the medicine cat. "Good morning to you, Hickorysprout? How are things on your end this fine morning?"

Hickorysprout yawned, "Not so good, I woke up with a wet pelt an' a bad attitude." She shook out her pelt, trying to get the last of the rain drops from her thick grey fur. "I plan to have Dawnpaw collect some cobwebs and broom." She leaned down and took another bite of her prey.

"That's too bad." Tigerfang's whiskered twitched in amusement as he watched the cat with a smile. "I will arrange for a warrior to accompany Dawnpaw, then."

"Thank you Tigerstar." She dipped her head in appreciation. "Oh! how rude of me, how are you Tigerstar?" She ate the rest her prey and licked her grey paw clean.

Personality Mothpaw is a young foolhardy, benevolent, and optimistic tom. He may seem to be just another ditzy apprentice but his cunning & thrifty will soon prove to be useful. His strategic hunting skills and nimble movements make him a great hunter. Mothpaw is very expressive of his emotions, sometimes a little too much. He'll get carried away during training and misjudge what he can handle.
History Mothpaw was born to Sandbelly, an agile grey shecat with yellow eyes. Sandbelly had broken the code and fallen in love with a kittypet. Mothpaw was once embarrassed to have been related to a lazy house cat but soon got over the insecurity when he met his father, Apollo. The tom turned out to be a sleepy, kind housecat. He still visits his father everyonce in a while despite his old age. About three moons ago his mother Sandbelly contracted green cough which developed into blackcough. He lost her within a few sunrises. Mothpaw was terrified, without his mother he would be the only one of his kin in a clan. He hopes to someday convince his father Apollo to join the clan.
