Owlstar announced, "Maplekit, please step forward." She also nodded to Bearfang to come to the front of the crowd.

Birchstorm held back hissing. "Stor―Ludwig, we just want to talk to you," he said, attempting to ease the fight.

Aspenfrost purred. "Well, you are just born for huntin'!"

Owlstar leaped off the Sunrock, relaxed and proud now that the ceremonies were over.

"I'm always ready!" Aspenfrost meowed with unusual sass, tossing her head back. She grinned at Graywhisker. "Now are you?"

She padded out of the warriors den, her tail flicking to the side. Brightsun had missed a lot since she was asleep late, so she looked around, her ears twitching.

Ludwig whipped his head around and gave a snarl, "zhen spit it out!"

Birchstorm flicked his ears up. "Why did you you leave?" he asked evenly.

Aspenfrost purred. "You're a father! It won't be that bad. You cam always visit me," she meowed excitedly.

He gave a small snort and spat, "I can do vhatever I vant to do and I can respond or not. You can't force a answer out of mein! Why don't you just leave us be and stop asking ridiculous questions!"

"I know, but still." He chuckled, grinning, and nuzzled her gently. "I'll make sure I do, don't worry~!"
