Even when Cranekit agreed she still felt uneasy. It coiled in her gut, making her shuffle her paws uncomfortably on the ground as the kit padded off to find her eldest sibling. She was only granted relief, even just slightly, when her own brother approached them, sharing greetings with the kit before arriving at her side. She noticed a lot of other cats had awoken by this time so she lowered her voice to answer him, not wanting to cause a panic. "Cranekit went looking for her brother and Sunpaw inside of the apprentices den just a few minutes ago, however they were not there and I don't think anyone has seen them since last night." She hums nervously under her breath. The more time that passed without either apprentice entering the camp made her nerves grow, what if they've been injured and cannot get back to camp? The thought leaves her fur prickling with adrenalin, ready to get up and find them right this moment.
She is halted, for now, as Jadestar approaches. Calming herself and bowing her head respectively she can't help but wince at the volume their leader speaks at. Of course this is a serious topic that has begun to churn panic, but they needed to contain that panic to help find the apprentices, and letting the whole camp know would just cause chaos. She is thankful that in her distraction her brother was able to inform Jadestar about what has happened, murmuring her agreement to his statement.
She jumps slightly as Ottersnap quietly appears, her nerves are seriously heightened by this situation. Oh dear, she can't help but think, when we find those two, if they're not injured they're going to be getting a real earful for worrying everyone.
She tunes back in with talk of a patrol, straightening herself and meeting their eyes. "If there is going to be a patrol, I would like to join." She looks back to the camp entrance, still empty. One or her claws trace patterns on the ground, "I told Cranekit that I would go looking for them if they hadn't returned soon." She informs, still tracing circles in the dirt, swirling repetitive motions that help her stay calm for the moment.
