Manestar looked at Mapleshadow gratefully. "Thanks, Mapleshadow." he said, giving her a quick lick between the ears, before leaping down from the tree and running toward the river bank. He sat just inside the tree line and watched as the river flowed by as if there was nothing wrong.

Miststar felt the urge to go down to the river. She turned to leave, but stepped on a twig. The twig made a loud crawk, and miststar flinched. She turned, expecting to see Hiddenthunder staring at her

Hiddenthunder turned and got up. He blushed slightly from her eharing his singing. "Miststar?" he said, giving her a lick on the ear. "Since the gathering is tonight, what time exactly? Around midnight or aorund now?"

Miststar paused. "at midnight" she mewed, "when the moon is at its highest." she glanced at the forest. "i have to go to the river" she meowed. "do you wanna come with me?" she asked hesitantly, flicking her tail nerviously

Hiddenthudner smiled. "Sure." he said padding with her. He entwined tails with her, not knowing that he even did it.
